Roman leaned in slightly, an unescarcy gesture considering he was conveying his message with hands rather than words. But Roman and Aggie did that because they liked everyone else knowing they were gossiping about them. There were only two people in the building who were as good at ASL as Roman and Aggie.

He was different man than she'd known when he'd been with Hannah, right down to his posture, and his mannerisms. Truly an interesting change, but a wholesome and hopeful one. It looked good on him. Domestic bliss. Though, part of her couldn't help but feel sad for Hannah that it hadn't been her who got to experience it, she did know that Hannah was happy for him and Charlie both. Which means it was okay for her to be, too.

He followed her gaze out to the girls before flickering back to her signs, chuckling at the idea of them having even slightly change the way they call her. Surely they'll get used to it sooner or later. "..how have they been in class? I haven't asked in awhile." Ash usually sends and picks them up for class, and while she wildly recounts the entire class to him, it's hard to follow, if he's being honest.

Ashton's smile falls into an unamused frown, huffing in a pout to a side as Aggie egged him on about it once again. "Ha ha, I'd be terrible. And you know I can't stay that still as a bush, I'd probably cramp up, I'm getting old." Finding every single excuse under the sun to polite decline the invite.

They are working so hard. Maisie is really talented. And she meant that. There was a lot of herself at that age that Aggie saw in the little girl, a familiar lighting up at everything from the music to the movements. I think you might have a little dancer on your hands. And dance never really left them, as human beings, something she truly believed, especially now. It was part of them as humans. It would keep her strong, just like it had with Aggie.

You talk like you are an eighty year old man. Face falling into an exaggerated attempt an 'old man' face, hunching over and pretending to use a cane while holding her back. Returning to her own posture with a shake of her head, she offered him the tiniest 'shove' to his shoulder.

He could hold her gaze long as she returned his words at him, innately wanting to shrug it off as he dropped his gaze down to just focus on her hands as she signed. He wanted to disagree, unsure if they were comparable, but that wasn't the point, was it? It's taken him a long time to accept what happened to him, even now it was easier to ignore it or dismiss its impact on him.

But today, it's Aggie's day, her word is queen and he truly let them settle into his bones, when he's ready. He wasn't sure when that would ever be. "I'll try," he finally looked back up to Aggie, words choking through, knowing that she'd still look out for him, always did. Ashton had been busy but wasn't involved in the seating arrangements and he didn't even notice until he sat down after the officiation that there was an empty seat beside him and the Roses with a name that still ached. Guess her Hero may have witnessed it after all. Certain ways of happiness were so close he could touch it and other ways of happiness felt further than ever. But he'll.. try his best, "I promise," he nodded his head, he wasn't sure he deserved to be, but a promise nonetheless to remind himself at least.
