I don’t think we as a fandom marvel enough at the Hannibal novels ending with the fact that Clarice Starling was so impossibly irresistibly gorgeous that the untouchable genius villain of the series frequently referred to as the literal Devil gave up his lifelong evil plan after seeing her in a silk ballgown, fantasized about her having a gun on her to kill him and then dropped to his knees before her like a dog on his very own dining room floor. Beautiful canonically buff woman so incredible she can do what the whole ass US government can’t in 0.5 seconds. Like.
