Oki wriggled free of his battle gear after coming out of another long day of victories and defeats against academy students who chose to challenge the boss of the Fighting-type Team Star base.

After putting it away, he noticed that he was being spoken to by an Alolan Raichu.

Oki: "Hello.." (after he listened to what she had to say, head tilted a little) "Your friend told you about me..? It.. ..must have been after I was at an event with my family, because it is either that, or if I get mentioned in stories that get shared around.."

He let Panina accompany him as he made his way towards the base entrance.

Oki: "I don't. And I am in no hurry to get it back. I got it removed after having to spend years with it attached to me. I didn't like having it, as it kept being caught on things, and because of the threat it would have towards Ogerpon and Wo-Chien."

He was then seen rubbing the part of his neck where the chain had once been attached.

Oki: "..sometimes it can still feel like it's there.. That feeling would most likely be because of how long it was there before I had it removed.."

He stopped at the base entrance gate and waited for some of the base's grunts to come and open it.

Yup! That's right. I believe she was talked to ya or yer husband. Or both, I dunno, I should ask her again.

As she listens on Oki's words, she makes a lil serious face.

Hmm, that's valid... Ya know, Kitakami was, indeed, a very unpredictable place back then, probably in my world but I dunno if it's the case of yers too. It's a doin' of one Pokémon - I don't think I need to say their name cuz I fear that it might've trigger ya... But at least ya chose yer own path to be together with the family! And that's REALLY great!

"Heya there, buddy!" she approaches the human Trainer with caution as she is still not really used to talk to humans.

"Those papers... It kinda reminds me of a work. Are you sorting a research, by any chance?"

Carillon's cheeks flushed slightly, a little embarrassed. She’d come here to avoid being nagged at, not receive more of it! She straightened up a little and glanced towards Panina, shuffling the papers a little awkwardly, “...Yes. Ok, look, I know I'm supposed to be taking a break and all, but I’m so BORED! I just want to do a little bit of research, then I’ll take a break, I swear!”

“You’re damn right you will,” Nammu said with a nod, “Or else I’ll get Nuska to lay on you again.” Turning towards Panina, the Tatsugiri said, “Don’t worry, this little bit of work is nothing compared to what she usually does. We– and by we I mean her Pokemon team –are keeping a careful eye on her to make sure she actually rests.”

Panina comes a bit close to Carillon and puts a plate with forks and knives at the table. She is getting a bit anxious since she is not usually be that close towards human.

She approaches the Umbreon with a sad face as she is too sad to greet her.

"This forest is definitely not great compare to ours... Sure it's dark, but it's much worse...

I see your grief in your face. Did...someone die here? There's no way..." she becomes teary.

"No way?" Mune furrowed her nonexistent brows. That statement was very bizarre and out of place for her. "Lady, are you delusional? Can't you tell from how deranged this place is?" Mune gritted her teeth for a second. The silence of that night felt a lot emptier. It wasn't supposed to feel this way, but it has to, for everyone's sake. "But.."

Look, I think ya misunderstood somethin' important. I'm not very familiar with most universes besides where I live…

She sees with a bit of a sad face now.

Looks like she's being quiet after this. Some tears flow from her eyes.

Been trying some stuff out using maskingtape to block out areas and create the smooth junction. It has been kinda fun, if a bit spooky as the maskingtap is still pealing the paper.

"Ah, another fella Pikachu, I see...?" she approaches him with a huge smile, albeit being a bit nervous, especially the last time since she met someone not so friendly to her. At least she's not sweating and genuinely smiles.

"Heya! How's it goin', dude? I kinda heard ya're part Dark-type, right? Like, da opposite to my species variant... How you feel about it, if ya don't mind?"

“You… kinda remind me of my mom, actually. She’s an alolan Raichu, too. I miss her, dad, and Kumori…”

She nods with smile. As she hears about her family, she is tearing up a bit.

Y'know, I, indeed, have great family. My ma, pa...I was only child in this family... I miss them...Ma taught me pancakes. Pa is not like others since he's a normal Raichu...but he DO have some surfboardin' skills, haha... Don't worry, they're still livin', just not with me anymore... I call them time to time and havin' a great time, heh...

She is now smiling with a giggles.

They're great parents. I hope they'll accept my relationship with my...uhh...let's not mention about it for now...

"Heya...ugh..." she is getting a bit uneasy feeling towards them. "Ya jus' remind me of someone I know from the rivalry squad. 'Ey...aren't not really friendly at us...

It's just...ya are complainin' about somethin'... Do ya have a bias against that Gimmi guy? I saw you aren't impressed by 'em..."

The espeon shakes her head and gives Panina a sympathetic look, “I guess I can’t fault you poor dears who aren’t from Paldea. I wouldn’t want to advertise the criminal population to newcomers either, it would be bad for tourism afterall. But you deserve to know just who you’re sharing a road with too.”

She gives another tsk as she flicks a paw in Crow’s direction. Leaning closer to the raichu she speaks in a lower voice as if discussing a secret. “That little bug is a criminal. There used to be a gholdengo by the name of Pyrite who took over the entire western province and wanted the rest of the region too. And the little pest over there was right next to them helping their master until the pile of coins was put behind bars. Next thing you know the little thugs are pleading innocent and the rulers just let them off the hook!”

Panina is no longer angry at the duo, instead being angry at "criminal" Crow. But...does she know the true nature about him?

I see... I shoulda know... If I was myself, I would arrest them... But...the rules are the rules...

She is shrugging with awkwardness.

"Heyhey, dude!" she approaches a Jolteon with a smile as she brought some crepes. "I've 'eard sugar gives ya energy, so have some crepes!"

"What do ya think of that Ninetales fella? I'm pretty sure he's neat, but at the same time...I have a lil uneasy feelin'..."

As she hears about "home", she feels a deep sadness within her heart.

Ya know, I missed my home too... Beautiful beaches, sunsets, island, cities, and towns... And also...malasadas... Sadly...my current place doesn't 'ave most of 'em... And I really wanted to 'ave vacation like Ali did recently...

The 'rude' awaking shocked -literally- Petunia, the electricity went through her body. Not harmfully -or at least not that much.

She rubbed her head, feeling confused, the remain electricity sparked on her fur. "What in the...." as she spoke up....

"WHO THE HECK YOU THINK YOU ARE?! HOw in Arceus' whatever you got here?!" she shouted angrily. She then looked around, seeing Zipporah's absence. "Whatever....Seems Zip is out." and with that, she jumped off the bed.

H-HEY, HOW DARE YA...GRRRR... IT'S PANINA, AND NO, I'M NOT TELLIN' YA ABOUT IT, NUH-UH...

She is very upset that she couldn't disclose this to someone who shows "rude" behavior towards her.

As she hears about the bird, she also getting surprised too.

Ya mean Zapdos or Kilowattrel? I mean, the former makes sense cuz it's a Legendary and is so strange to see one in such common place like café.

And for pancakes, she gently smiles.

I mean, everyone make mistakes when cookin' 'em, so that's why. These take time to perfect 'ese, so all ya need is patience and a lot of practice...actually, not really a lot tho... And if ya want some advice, I'm glad to tell you!

“Well we can only hope that things get better from here, yeah?”

Belle’s usual smile returned as Panina expressed shock at what Belle told her.

“Not as far as I’m aware! An’ yep! Supposedly a group of islands used ta be aroun’ here, though their exact location was unknown.”

“From what I can remember, they were said ta be a paradise of sorts.”

“Perhaps sometime I could dig up my old book of fairytales and tell ya a bit more about it!”

“Zapdos or Kilowattrel, huh? I don’t think it was either of those, but I’m certain it was some kind of legendary. It’s power was so immense, any mon could feel it!”

Belle gives a warm smile at Panina’s offer.

“I’d gladly accept some advice! Perhaps—“

The sound of someone clearing their throat interrupted Belle. She looked down to find Latte holding a small bag.

“Sorry to interrupt, but the customers order is ready” the Alcremie said in a rather monotonous voice, holding up the bag to Panina “It’s the mint cream with the berry sweet and quite literally every sweet thing we have in stock.”

“Enjoy your dreadful cake pops” was the last thing he said before he left.

Belle laughed nervously.

“Don’t worry too much about him, he . . Eh . .isn’t too fond of the cake pops”

She nods with a shock.

I see, so...I'm outta ideas, honestly, haha...

Her laugh is kind and she lightheartedly shrugs.

As she is now sees her order, she smiles with her eyes sparkling.

WHOA...? 'OSE ARE GREAT!! And yeaaa...our boss is a bit strict, yet he 'as a heart. He doesn't really fond on sweets, hahah...

She eats some and leaves the rest. Before, she forgot, she pays for the pops.
