- questions should be appropriate/SFW. No NSFW!

- Character interactions with poke blogs only, although questions from the void are ok as well

- It’s okay to be rude to the characters, but you will face retaliation depending on who it is directed at

- Most asks will be drawn so they will take time!

- In this world, Alolan Pokemon have been gone a long time, if an Alolan Pokemon shows up the characters will see them as just a weird looking Pokemon.

- Magic anons are allowed, but I may or may not use them.

- Silly asks are very much encouraged!

- If your character is unable to enter the cafe (due to not being able to fit through the entrance) they will have to order from the outside area where Latte is. They can still send asks to Belle and Barnaby, Latte will just call them over.

"Here, I can show ya!" She walks over to a wall with many hanging pictures and points to one in particular.

"My grandparents founded this cafe when she was just a mareep!" she points to the Ampharos and Slurpuff. "That's them!"

"And that scruffy mareep is my Papa, back when he was small!" Belle giggles a little bit, "He always told me how kind Juniper was, never turning anyone away and helping those in need."

"We welcome everyone here," Belle says with a smile, "provide a safe space for those who need it, to forget their troubles for a bit with music and delicious food."

"I love coming in here everyday and seeing everyone's smiles!" Belle says with excitement.

Then she sighs, her smile fading.

"I never did get ta meet her." she looks back at the framed photo on the wall, saddness in her gaze "She died when papa was still a mareep, that photo was probably one of the last they took together."

Belle shakes her head, "S-Sorry bout that!" she laughs nervously "Lemme go check on yer order!" Before you can even say anything, she's gone. A moment later the flaaffy returns, tray in hand and places it on a table near by.

"Here ya go!"

“How long have I worked here?” Belle tilts her head, “I’d say about 3 years or so?” She nods.

“Yep! 3 years! But I’ve been helping’ my papa since I was a lil’ mareep!”

Belle lets out a startled yelp at the sound of another voice, she leans over the counter, spotting the eevee.

When did they enter the cafe???

Regaining her composure, she clears her throat, gripping her neck fluff a little as she registers the eevee’s and Gem’s question.

“The owner of the—?OH!”

“I-I’m just takin over fer me papa! Because he’s sick y’see!!!” Belle’s words come tumbling out in a flurry “H-he’s the real owner the cafe! Not! Me!”

“I won’t be the owner fer a long time now!” She chuckles nervously, “Not until papa—”

Belle stops herself.

“Not until he—” she feels a lump in her throat. She laughs nervously, tugging at the cloth wrapped on her wrist.

She didn’t want to think about it.

She heard a dinging sound in the distance.

She’s startled out of her thoughts by the slamming of a tray right beside her. She turns her head slightly.

“Barnaby?”

The Rotom is visibly shaking, sparks are flying off of them. Why are they out here?

Belle spotted the tray with the customer’s order. Ah the dinging sound. She didn’t pick up the order from them.

It was silent for a couple of moments.

“Zzzt—ORDER—BZZT! R—REady! Zzt!” Barnaby shoved the tray into Gem’s paws.

“P-PLEASE—BZZT! Zz—LEAVE—ing NOW—BZRT” The rest of their sentence was hard to make out, their voice was fluctuating a lot. Probably very overwhelmed. They don’t usually come out of the kitchen. Belle thought she should apologize later.

“Ah!” She gave Scratch a sheepish smile “Just, uh . . give me a moment!” She laughed nervously as she jumped over the counter, scrambling over to the outdoor area’s entrance

“Be back in a few! Ha ha . .” She said before zipping out the door to where Latte sat, in his usual spot with a coffee by his side.

“Oh dear . . Latte is not going ta like this . .” She muttered to herself while tapping her hooves together.

The Alcremie didn’t even turn to look at her as she called his name. Straight to the point like always.

Ok then.

“I need ya ta make a Stormy Black coffee.” Belle said quickly.

“What.” At this, Latte whipped around to face her, slight annoyance in his expression “Belle, I’m not—”

“Look. I know what you’re going to say but the customer said they wanted something warm and bitter!” Belle interjects.

“Belle, you know how Barnaby gets—” Latte says with growing annoyance.

“Aw, cmon please!” She pleads with sad puppy dog eyes.

“Ugh, fine.” Latte finally says with a long sigh, shooting Belle a glare before heading inside and bracing himself for what was to come.

“Thank youuu!!” Belle called.

“Yeah, Yeah, whatever.” Latte grumbled.

Belle returned back inside a moment later with a big smile on her face. She hopped back over the counter.

“Your order will be ready soon!” She announced.

“Why not take a—” her words were interrupted by a loud scream followed by lots of commotion.

“Uhhh . . Ignore that.” She says with a laugh that seemed forced “Everything is completely fine! ha ha. .”

They both sat awkwardly until some time had passed and Latte came barreling out of the kitchen, singed and covered in dust and coughing. Wheezing, he slammed the coffee cup on the counter. And shot a very angry glare at Scratch.

“You are paying extra for this.” He snarled.

Yikes. Must’ve been really bad if Latte was this mad.
