As long as your cat meets the pelt requirements for the clan they’re being submitted for, it’s fine! Though Birchclan just closed, CloudClan will be opening next - they’re typically the bulkier cats, so a big breed like that would fit well!

The other clans will be opening once Birchclan is all fit in and things are running smoothly. As for when they will open? I’d say in around one-two, maybe more, months after Birchclan is closed.

hey there!  so this is a question we mods have discussed a lot, and we think we came up with a solution that allows us to continue the roleplay in a productive manner without erasing the events that happened previously and allow members to keep their characters if they wish to do so!

so, this two generation “time skip” is happening.  however, if you wish to keep a character from the old roleplay, we’re going to allow that; your character will just not have existed previously.  so, for example, my character Rowanstorm.  he’s going to exist in CloudClan this time around.  however, all the events he’s been involved in (drama with Wolfstar, gatherings, etc) will have been a different cat, so that’s no longer part of his backstory.  this is a solution that allows us to let people keep their characters, but also move the roleplay in a productive way.

make sure you read the “lore” tag or link to ensure you know what has happened previously!  if you had a character in these events, you can still use that same character to apply again, but they won’t have been involved in these events previously, if that makes sense.  no living cats can remember the events that happened in the old roleplay, such as the formation of DawnClan.

Dawnclan is primarily comprised of the cats born of the rogues that first joined the clan about two generations ago, but rogues joining isn’t uncommon. When they join, though, it’s strict custom that they take a clan name.

What this means for the rp is that there will be 1-2 new rogues being accepted, but the rest should be clan born cats. The new rogues should already have clan names on the application.

Yes! Thank you for asking, I forgot to mention that in the last ask. Yes, you will be able to use the same cats. The reboot is just a chance for us to more thoroughly plan out the RP. Some cats may change, you don’t have to use the same cats, but you are absolutely more than welcome to. OCs are very important to people; taking them away is not something we ever want to do.

Yes, but only temporarily! We’re going to be doing a sort of redux. We’re going to close the RP until about May, then we’ll open apps again.
