Scripture: “Jesus answered, “Everyone who drinks this water will be thirsty again, but whoever drinks the water I give them will NEVER thirst. Indeed, the water I give them will become in them a spring of water welling up to eternal life.” - ‭‭John‬ ‭4:13-14‬ ‭NIV‬‬

Jesus answered, Everyone who drinks this water will be thirsty again: Trying to find pleasure, peace, or satisfaction in pleasing your flesh or in things of this world, will leave you thirsty (men, drinking, addiction). That is why we are left feeling empty, like we need more, and never truly satisfied.

But whoever drinks the water I give them will never thirst: But we have Jesus Christ! Through seeking Christ our thirst will be quenched! We will no longer thirst for things of this world anymore. Through Jesus Christ we will find freedom from sin, bondages of this world, insecurity, and fear!

Indeed, the water I give them will become in them a spring of water welling up to eternal life: Most definitely, we will find peace and true satisfaction in Jesus Christ! Through seeking him and devoting ourselves to him we are promised eternal life in Heaven. 

If I continue drinking the water of this world, I will become thirsty again and will be left feeling unsatisfied. But if I drink the living water of Jesus Christ, I will find true satisfaction, peace, and will never thirst again. Through following Christ, and living my life accordingly, I will experience the promise of eternal life!
