Absolutely crazy to me that the pro AI people nearly always think creative stuff is a chore that a machine needs to do instead of something that is actually fun.

It's like telling a racecar driver that they can eliminate the need to go fast, or telling Yo Yo Ma that they can eliminate the need for tricky intricate fingering. It is the fundamental difference between a writer and someone who kind of enjoys the idea of seeing his name on a book or in the credits.
