Is for the fandom to start taking Berdly seriously as a character!!!!!!!

Like seriously, do people really think that this DELTARUNE SPECIFIC CHARACTER whose WHOLE THING is like "I don't want to be forgotten, I want to be important" and is demonstrated TIME AND TIME AGAIN to want to be a part of a group (SPECIFICALLY the group of the MOST IMPORTANT CHARACTERS OF THE ENTIRE GAME) and hang out with his friends (HIS FRIENDS WHO ARE THE MOST IMPORTANT CHARACTERS OF THE ENTIRE GAME), but his weird self-esteem issues prevent him from doing so????????????????

Not to mention that he is THE turning point of the game from the normal route to the weird route.

But nooooooOOOOOOOO let's not think about the intricasies and complexities and also the myriads of symbolism in this character that have HEAVY lore implications that I OBVIOUSLY won't get into because he's SO unimportant

Despite the fucking fandom picking every OTHER last pixel and line of codes in this godforsaken game to shreds, Berdly just seems to go unnoticed for SOME reason.

Not only that but the game being literally centered around freedom and dark worlds. And not only is berdly (a bird) a massive symbol for freedom but he is depicted as feeling more free in the dark worlds.

And he is also the only main character not listed neither in ralsei's story at the start or the prophecy which to me at least, shows how much of a game changer he is.

He's so cool and there's so many ways to look into his character alone and narrative wise but people keep ignoring him either for ships or to cast him aside as a joke character. Which would in my opinion be impossible for him to be since this is the game toby fox has been planning for over TEN YEARS and that he is again, one of the main characters whether people like it or not!!

but in the fuck everything spirit of the day: the fact that the homestuck fandom from what i’ve seen never took to aro!jake english is just. really depressing?
