AshtonIrwin: Here’s the tale of how I got my solo artist name.

At the beginning of my album writing process I really wanted to have an artist name, or a band name... my project was called “BLUSH” for about 3 months & “FLETCH” for about 2 months. After trying to get the Trademark etc and having no luck, because of several bands and groups that had existed already, I gracefully allowed myself to just stick with my actual name for the project. I thought “well I’m already in a great band, why would I start another one” and in my heart it was time to just be me and stop playing a character. The album title SUPERBLOOM lasted the WHOLE process, I came up with the title alongside the first song we made. It sounded to me like my favorite 90’s record that never existed. Here in these images you can see BLUSH and FLETCH (another potential artist name) written on my song book.
