We're continuing our countdown of the Top 40 songs that appeared on the first chart of the AeschTunes Top 40 (July 3, 2001). Today is song #25: "Breath Of Life" by Echo Image.
This cover of Erasure's "Breath Of Life" peaked at number three on August 28, 2001 and spent one week there. The song fell off on December 4, 2001 after spending 22 weeks on the chart.
We were familiar with Echo Image through the internet, but we were floored when we heard KNHC 89.5 FM in Seattle playing this track on their station. We love the original song by Erasure, and we also really like this cover by Echo Image.
Echo Image went on to make three more appearances on the AeschTunes Top 40 during the chart's run.

Sundown - Gordon Lightfoot (1974)

Ian Cobiella has released "Have I Been Good to You."
I really like soundscape that the combination of the synths and Latin-infused rhythms creates. It also creates a catchy track, and Ian's vocal performance sells the lyrics' message of romantic self-reassurance.

We're continuing our countdown of the Top 40 songs that appeared on the first chart of the AeschTunes Top 40 (July 3, 2001). Today is song #26: "Celebrate Our Love" by Alice Deejay.
"Celebrate Our Love" debuted at its peak position of number 26 and spent one week there. The song fell off on August 7, 2001 after spending five weeks on the chart.
We owned a copy of Alice Deejay's Who Needs Guitars Anyway? album, and "Celebrate Our Love" is a song that we enjoyed on it. We probably saw on the internet that it was promoted as a single so we decided to include it on the chart.
It's a good song, but for us, but we were enjoying other tracks on the chart more. This meant that "Celebrate Our Love" wasn't able to have a stronger showing on the AeschTunes Top 40.
