LEGACIES ⇢ 3x15 | A NEW HOPE

What is The Hollow? It’s an evil, ancient force. Took over my body once. Made me do terrible things. It’s the reason my family had to leave me alone on this planet. It’s awful that we even have to say that because it should be a given. However, we need to say it loud and clear for the racists.

I started shipping Hosie WAY before I even watched Legacies. 

I had a complicated history with TVD and TO, and purposefully stopped watching TVD in season 5, I think. TO I kind of stopped without meaning to. Point is, by the time Legacies came on I was not watching either of the previous shows and was behind and with not so good memories. So I kept away.

Then… things started appearing on my dash. 

I saw a few gifs of Hosie and just… it became really hard to stay away lmao I started stalking the Legacies and Hosie tag to keep updated on what was going on with Hosie, so I knew it wasn’t canon but then, Josie confessed her fucking crush to Hope and my ass was full in. Legit obsession. 

I made a deal with myself, I would only start watching Legacies if Hosie became canon because, just from seeing gifs, I knew that Hosie was Clexa and Supercorp level for me. I knew if I watched there would be no salvation for me. So I stayed away… I binged TVD and TO just to be prepared and some interviews and saw that Hope “would be exploring her sexuality”.

And then Hope fucking confessed she had a crush on Josie too and my ass just threw sanity out the window and I started binging the next second because I couldn’t contain myself. I was like “not canon, but future confirmed endgame counts, right?” because that’s what that scene told me. 

They would not make both of them confirm to have had crushes on each other if they weren’t to be going there eventually and I still mantain this opinion. So I binged Legacies in 2 days and now we are here.

And from then till now, my opinion has not changed as much as it evolved on Hosie. Actually watching the show only made me ship it more and with each new episode that comes our way, it just continues growing.

Josie and Hope are honestly perfect for each other and this is a fact! 

You can ship whomever you want on this show and every ship is valid but Hosie just makes sense in a way that no other does.

They are the only ship that screams “Epic love” to me and every time they say that with Handon I am left confused because I’m like “where? where is the epicness?”

I need me that damn slowburn that makes you go insane. I need the build up. I need everything that Hosie has as a ship. Their relationship is just so complex, right from the beginning of when they first met until now. They have so much history that we have only scratched the surface. 

And I will go down to my grave screaming at how much they love each other without actually saying that they do directly at each other. I feel the tension and they want to say it but instead they just fucking look at each other like the other is their entire world.

And as much as this show is about Hope, Lizzie and Josie, if you actually look at it the emotional conflict storylines are usually grounded on Hope and Josie’s relationship to each other.

There was more emotional turmoil about Josie not remembering Hope than there was for Landon. They fixed Hope and Landon in 2 episodes and Hosie was the slow burn when it came to that story line.

The only reason they paired Josie and Landon wasn’t to make Hope sad that Landon was with someone else. The reason it had to be Josie is because Josie was the one person Hope could never hate. She could never be mad at either Landon or Josie because she loved them both. If Josie had been someone else, you bet your ass Hope would have been way less heartbroken and way more pissed.

Hope even said that the reason she was so afraid of everyone remembering her was because she feared Josie would hate her. Not that Landon would hate her. JOSIE! Do you know how important that is? That Hope was terrified of losing Josie. And when they all finally remembered Hope (because yet again, Josie was emotionally conflicted on what to do, giving the emotional conflict storyline center stage to Hosie), Hope was constantly trying to fix her relationship with Josie, way more than she was with Landon.

I am gonna shut up now because I could legit talk about Hosie for eternity.
