I’ve seen worst casting calls than the one for the Nick Jonas video too. Worst ones have been public published on the interwebs.

It’s hilarious to me how much white people flipped their shit over Hamilton supposedly excluding them in the call for that show, when poc are constantly referred to as all sorts of derogatory names in castings.

That second one, it’s not unbelievable that a black actor was tricked into doing a racist commercial for a Chinese company and didn’t know until he saw the finished product.

I saw soooo many people saying the Nick Jonas casting was fake, which is why I chimed in. actors see that shit all the time! and the reason more don’t call it out is cause we want to work! it’s very easy to get blacklisted for calling out racism & sexism in the industry. there are literally millions of actors waiting in line to snatch up work so it’s nothing to kick you to the curb and cast someone else.

Guys can you please boost this? By now you have already probably seen that disgustingly racist chinese detergent advert and the common reaction is to blame the black actor in the clip for his involvement but apperently he was tricked and he is getting literally hatred from black people and high horse non blacks who are using this as a opportunity to further bash us

After working on this illustration for almost a week, I can finally show the final version of it!

I experimented A LOT with color palettes and different ways to paint in the process. In addition, it was the first time I tried to explain my perception of two of my favorite characters in the series and their relationship through their poses/expressions. It was so much fun tbh !! :’))
