Bellion is on the same page as Ashborn, being a character introduced too late and we know not enough about them. However, I will try my best to look into his character and try harder not to mischaracterize him.

—A Percect Soldier—

As we know, Bellion said it himself that he is once a fruit from a world tree. Tree so large, its branches can cover the whole sky. Like the other soldiers of the heaven, Bellion is born into a duty, to served ‘the heaven’.

In Bellion’s case, he becomes Ashborn’s strongest soldier but only strong but Bellion follows Ashborn’s command without any doubt. This carry on until Ashborn becomes a shadow monarch and receives the power of death, what does Bellion do?

He volunteers to become his first soldier, offering his life to join his monarch in death.

One may see it as loyalty, but honestly that might just be blind devotion. We have to remember the fact that he is born to be a soldier, forever be in the duty to serve his lord which in this case is Ashborn.

And said it himself that he never once doubted Ashborn’s decision. Which fit the meaning of the word, blind devotion which means unwavering, unquestioning loyalty or love for a person, cause, or belief, disregarding all logic, evidence, or potential flaws.

This could be a parallel to Ashborn and the absolute being before his day as a shadow monarch. Absolute loyalty, to the point where they ignore the potential flaw.

To me, this is the factor that most like to forget when talk about why Ashborn chose Igris to the the tester and not him.

Because to me, after rethinking about it, Ashborn might think because of Bellion’s devotion. He isn’t the perfect fit for the job, because chances are Bellion would immediately accept SJW as the successor immediately.

Why?

Because this is Ashborn’s decision and he would never question his liege’s decision. But I don’t think this is because of his respect of his monarch alone but the sense of duty, something he borne into.

His life is made to be a soldier and that’s what he knew until Jinwoo became the next shadow monarch. When he asked if Bellion was saddened by the fact that he wouldn’t be able to see his previous monarch again.

His answer was ‘He hasn’t yet given any thought to how I feel, my liege’ leading me to believe that he hasn’t because he feels like it isn’t in his duty to think about it.

His duty is to follow orders, and follow he does. the perfect example of a soldier but now under Jinwoo’s command, he has given a life outside of being a soldier. And he will have to learn and adjust himself to this new free will.

It is up to Ashborn whether he chooses to talk about it or not. Chances are low but it is never zero. And if he does talk about it, he would probably turn to Igris rather than Bellion, since he knows he and the knight share similar experiences. The anguish of shattered trust.

Maybe that would also explain why Ashborn chose Igris to be the tester and not Bellion. He probably sees the journey Igris had gone through , from an elite knight in his army into a marshal whose strength can keep up with his first ever soldier. That is the kind of soldier his successor needs, (and the fact that Igris is once a human and SJW is also a human)

In summary, this might just be Ashborn/Igris propaganda and I just unaware of it, depending on how you see them this can both be platonic and romantic i guess, *Gulp*.

So basically this is the version of Igris where he becomes a vengeful spirit because Ashborn isn’t gonna turn into shadow monarch in this AU(This CAN CHANGE)

After being betrayed by the nobles, Sian halat is reborn into a vengeful spirit, with burning need to right his wrong. He embarks onto a journey, rechristens himself as ‘the river maker of red’. And his first target is none other than the nobles who take away everything he once cherish.

But even when he paints the earth with their blood, he cannot lay himself to rest, the need in his heart remains unfulfilled. So, he begins to wander—using his cloak to act as a veil.

Sian Halat is no more, there’s no need for this face anymore.

No longer a noble knight, what left is merely a husk. And a name that will strike fear into the hearts of the wicked.

Though brutal and inhuman , he deems it is the best way to deal with the injustices that long plague this world.

This is just a concept, and I don’t know if I gonna make it a full blown AU yet.
