PROMPT from inception_kink: When Eames is killed third level, sedated, on another inception attempt, Arthur knows he's going to Limbo. He promises to come for him, tells him to hold that memory. Eames' last sight of him is the battered rose in his lapel. In Limbo, Eames can only remember Arthur's words and the rose. So while he is waiting, he starts to plant a rose garden. It grows, and grows, and by the time Arthur gets to him, Limbo is a lush, endless garden. They are almost sorry to leave, but Arthur promises that they'll make a garden together in the real world.

Arthur was a finely-honed killing machine. And Eames had just gotten him hammered.

In which Eames is their best player, Arthur is dense, Ariadne has a funny hat, Dom always runs the game and Mal wants to play free-form. (Or, the one where they're all in a roleplaying group together in highschool.)

"We really ought to make the most of being snowed in together, you know," Eames said, leaning in, voice husky.

"I want you to help me destroy Dom Cobb," Mal said. "Who?" Arthur asked. For red_rahl, who requested: Arthur and Eames in a relationship (can be dom/sub) and lots of teasing/testing inbetween or even on jobs and fighting to stay professional (while still being totally competent and bamf).

Or, Criminals mix up professional and personal relationships.

Honestly, Eames doesn't know why everyone thinks Arthur is the reasonable one of the team. Dude is crazy.  And okay, yes, they're all a little crazy. Ariadne went from being a mild mannered 20 year college student to committing gun-laden (sometimes treasonous) acts of corporate espionage with disturbing equanimity, Yusef regularly tests unknown chemical compounds on himself, Cobb has homicidal fantasies about his dead wife, and Eames...alright so Eames has a somewhat unsettling fondness for grenade launchers and maybe, maybe has a little too much fun pretending to be a woman sometimes.  But Arthur. Arthur is batshit insane. That's not to say that Eames doesn't totally love the little psychopath, he just wishes he wasn't the only one to notice it.
