"Fine, but he's your responsiblity," he said with a sigh, not really opposed to the idea of the other keeping the cat. "What're you going to name him?"

“—France?” Marena giggled, “You mean Ireland, silly. You must be drunk, huh?” 

“Heh, guess I’m missing more than just the other cups I’ve drinken already,” Warren said, a goofy smile on his face. “How is– How is Ireland?”

Josh nodded his understanding. He felt bad for the guy. The perpetrator really did a number on the poor guy’s face. Which actually brought on another question to mind. “—Anything else you remember about them? I could help you find them if you want. I could even return some of the bruises they gave you.” 

“Sickly pale hands and I think one of them was wearing an assortment of silver rings. Had designs I’d never seen before. Other than that they were covered head to toe in black,” Warren told him after a brief moment of struggling to remember anything besides the pain of getting pummeled, “Thanks mate, but I’d rather not run into them again. I’ll just subtly look for them.”

“The only people i know who get locked up are Prisoners.” Isla smiled “I wonder if thats who we are’” Isla cocked her head in question, though her smile was obviously playful.

“Perhaps. Though, we do have better food than prisoners do. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve snacked throughout the day.” He relaxed, knowing that the other wasn’t angry about having to stay inside all the time, and even chuckled when he spoke.

          The man in front of him sported a black eye, but the person who gave it to him suffered a fate much worse in the hands of the prince. He responded with a curt nod. It was Dmitri’s job to follow orders, and to protect those who needed protection when there were none.

Warren wasn’t used to meeting someone who didn’t respond with words. Then again, perhaps the people he was used to were just overly talkative. Thinking that it’d be rude of him to just leave after the guy saved his life, he said, “I’m Warren, by the way. Is there anything I can do to repay you?”

“Nae worries, I am gonna teach ye to defend yerself though.” He said in a tone that didn’t allow for any discussion. “Now am hopin’ it wilnae happen again, but just in case.”

Learning some defensive moves would be the smartest thing to do and he wasn’t too terribly bad at fighting, but he was a bit nervous. His strength laid with his brain, not his brawn. Nonetheless, he merely gulped and nodded his head. “Fine with me. It’s better if everyone knew how to defend.”

Myra felt a little dizzy, but that was expected. Healers tend to feel that way after they’d perform their task. All she needed was a few seconds to regain her balance. “I’m fine. Don’t worry about me. You worry about you.” She smiled at the other kindly. “—I’m Myra by the way. It’s nice to meet you.” 

Warren assumed that healers felt drained after using their energy, at least that’s what he’s read and heard, so he allowed his worry to lessen. Though it was still present and he was fully alert just in case she wasn’t as fine as she said. “Nice to meet you too, I’m Warren,” he smiled back and held out his hand before he remembered the bandages, “Oh whoops, um, how long do you think it’ll take for this to heal?”

“I’m gonna have an anxiety attack from having to memorize all this stuff,” she laughed, looking around with wide eyes.

He laughed with her, staying back as he watched her. “No need to memorize everything. A lot of it’s just a bunch of bedrooms and bathrooms and whatnot. At least, I think so. I haven’t even covered the entire place yet.”
