Yesterday we drove down to Lucas Oil Stadium for DCI semi finals, and then on the way home today stopped for some quick drive-by letterboxes.

Weāre heading out to the suburbs of Chicago tomorrow and I planned some letterboxing stops and Iām low key SO EXCITED because we havenāt letterboxed in over a year.... I really want to get back into it and get out for adventure and also get into carving again

Carved a double layer stamp a few weeks ago, and finally got around to planting it in a cemetery. The craziest part is we found a set of 3 crosses that look just like the stamp!
Last week I bought a dremel for work, and this week I bought some fine tip bits and I'm gonna try and carve with them! Does anyone have experience with Dremels and carving, or any other technique to get fine detail with carving?

Tried to go find a diamond carve yesterday, but we got stuck in the rain on a trail in the woods. Found a bridge with a river under it and decided to take shelter from the rain! Never got the box, but have a funny little story to tell now. We'll probably go back one day to try again and get it.
We leave for Orlando to visit the parks before getting onto the Disney cruise for 5 days, so carved this and going to plant it somewhere while on the cruise! Possibly on Castaway Cay or maybe somewhere in or near the port terminal. Hope you like the carve and can't wait to relax!

"Conspirators Gather" Hildebran, NC We had no idea this was so close to us! We were out on a simple strand of boxes, grabbing some here and there when we saw this box's clue. While reading it, I saw that it mentioned a pastry/cake building and jokingly referenced the one from hunger games when Peeta throws katniss the bread. Little did we know it's the actual building! Plus the back of some of the buildings were used in shots when katniss is in her home neighborhood. Crazy how close things are, and how much you can discover through letterboxing!
Carved this one 3 years ago today and started using it as my signature stamp. I'm so glad I've found something I'm good at and hope I never lose this talent!
