Hours later, as she emerged back into the clear night, she found the guards watching her intently, eyes staying on her where before they would have slid off of her. She paid them no mind, until one approached her, brows furrowed, his spear clenched tightly in his hand. "May I help you sir? Have I been a bad girl?" The words tumbled from her lips, much to her surprise. She had merely meant to ask if something was wrong, not...that. His own look of confusion was enough to encourage her to hurry on, rushing past the befuddled guard.
