I make art sometimes

The sound doesn’t echo because the trees are so close here, but it still feels like a beacon to lead their enemies after them—as much a proclamation of their current location as the trail of footprints he’s leaving behind, or the drops of blood staining the pristine white blanket covering the ground. Those, at least, have trailed off. Loki doesn’t want to think about what that might mean. He’s still alive, thank the Norns—the labored breathing in Loki’s ear, almost loud enough to drown out the sound of his footsteps, is proof enough of that. Proof enough that Loki hasn’t failed. Yet. (When a mission gone wrong strands them on a hostile planet, Loki pushes himself to his limits in order to save Mobius' life.)
