(She/her/hers) Welcome to the Adoption Fandom! I’m an asian transracial international adoptee. This blog mostly consists of jokes. Nothing here is meant to represent a universal adoptee experience, because there isn’t one! Though there can be some commonalities I believe we can come together for laughs, cries, celebration, mourning, and discussions! TW on mental health topics! Just to be super clear: free Palestine, abolish ICE, abortion is healthcare, protect trans kids, love is love, black lives matter, science is real, I love you all and we can do this together. - Now that I’ve aged since I started this blog. I wanted to say that I have learned more about the types of adoptions that can happen, I want to let you all know that I am aware this is not always the answer. In fact, many adoptions have been unethical and I urge hopeful adoptive families to do extremely careful and thorough research before deciding on this path. The child’s welfare must always be top priority in such a situation. I know some of my posts promote adoption but I want to be super clear that whether or not adoption is good is situational.
