So Iâve been doodling my Dragon Age OCâs lately and I decided to draw a picture of my young Templar character. This is supposed to be a painting of her when she was about 13 or 14.Â
Iâll be making an rp blog for her when I get decent enough images.Â
I hope itâs adequate ouo
DA:O RP {Open to All}
She shifted, leaning against the brick wall, her eyes skimming over the mages as they came and went. She smiled, nodding her head gently as a few of the younger mages made their way to the their lessons. âHave a good lesson.â She bid even though it went mostly ignored.Â
She was one of the younger Templarâs in the Circle; new to the Ferelden Circle of Magi. Having just left her training, they put her in the Circle as a start out position, and she was perfectly OK with that. This was the job she wanted; protecting and watching the mages thrive was a beautiful sight even if their magic terrified her.
âHave a great day.â She greeted with a smile. She knew how the Templarâs were received, but she didnât want to be so distant from them, not like the other Templarâs. Not like the Commander. She wanted to make friends.
I Sympathize with the Templarâs.Â
I also sympathize with the Mages.Â
You know who I donât sympathize with?Â
The Mages that killed Hawkeâs mother, or summoned demons for power. Or the mages that twisted spirits into demons for protection. Or the Mages that sacrificed people for rituals.Â
The Templarâs that rape and beat Mages. ones who make Mages Tranquil just to keep them quiet or under control.
You know who I hate?
Extremists.

"Never give up, it's such a wonderful life."
"Some things are best left unspoken."
"Do you know how it feels to let you go?"
"I feel so lost."
"Talk to me. Tell me your lies."
"Just take my hands. I'll make it all better."
"I don't feel safe."
"All my life I've felt this way, but I could never find the words to say."
"Since the day I left I see your face in every crowd."
"I feel lust like a sick disease."
"I know you need me too."
"I'm going home."
"Remember when it was just you and me?"
"Don't bring me back to life."
"Such a beautiful lie."
"I need somebody to die for."
"Love is not that easy!"
"Someday when you wake up happy you'll thank the Lord that I'm gone."
"It's a long way down when you're alone."
"I'll forget about you."
"Don't cry, please don't cry."
"I came so close to giving up."
"When I go, you will be someone new."
"There is no turning back."
"I've got nothing left to live for, but no reason yet to die."
"I see you when I close my eyes."
"Can you hear me?"
"I'm tired of being afraid."
"You'll be better off on your own."
"All I want for Christmas is New Year's Day."
"Home is where the heart is."
"You know I love you."
"We all get hurt by love."
"I can't sleep."
"I will give you my devotion until the end of time."
"I have no reason to forgive you."
"I'm afraid of myself."
"Nothing that I do will ever be enough for you."
"I wish that I was stronger."
"I could never live without you."
"Can you keep a secret?"
"Why are you out by yourself so late?"
"I'll never leave you again."
"My heart is empty."
"There's nothing left to lose."
"I'd rather be lonely than by your side."
"Look at what you've done!"
"Don't leave tonight."
"I can't hold my head up high with the weight of the world on my shoulders."
"You will never be forgotten with me by your side."
"Carry me away from the pain."
"Is this the end of the love that had just begun?"
"Things we never say are often best left alone."
"I can't cry any more tears."
"I wish I could stay with you tonight."
"Things are going to get better."
"Things aren't going to get better."
"Time waits for no one, so do you want to waste some time tonight?"
"I've been waiting my whole life to tell you how I feel."
"There is no light inside of a broken heart."
"No matter where they take me, death I will survive."
"Don't let go."
"I need you."
"I don't need this life."
"Stay with me. Please."

I want to do some voice acting for my warden, inquisitor or Bec. Send some questions for them to answer and Iâll record them.
adiacousland:
Born as a human noble to Bryce Cousland. She originally showed romantic interest in Alistair but by the end of her adventures loved all of her companions the same. To ensure Alistair would be able to take the throne she stepped back and allowed him to either Marry Anora or rule alone.
Warrior class: dual sword wielder.
herald-trevelyan:
Human noble inquisitor. Born youngest to three brothers. One who got the head of family, one became a templar and last joined the Chantry.
She had a rough relationship with her mother and fell in love with an enchanter who healed her when she became deathly ill. The Enchanter was then made tranquil and blamed for her sickness to keep up appearance among the nobles.
She spent time in the chantry when her mother refused to take responsibility for almost killing Malora.
She was with her brothers when the conclave exploded.
Warrior class: war hammer or battle axe wielder.
Adifferentkindoftemplar:
Bec was born in ferelden to An orlesian noblewoman and a Starkhaven Templar. They lived on a small farm in Lothering before they for news Becâs aunt died and her cousins were going to live with them.
On the ship home they were boarded onto Slaving vessels. Half were sold and the rest either died or ended up in possession of blood mages.
The elderly were murdered and children too young to work were killed. Any child showing sign of being a mage were tutored to use the rest of the passengers as blood sacrifices.
Bec worked hard, her mother died and father separated. She took care of the children. After years their cave was found by Kirkwall guard and the mages were killed.
She and the rest of survivors were moved into tenements by the alienage until a demon was summoned through and everyone but her was slaughtered.
She ended up in a clinic for the insane, when that fell she ended up at the Kirkwall chantry, then a templar in ferelden before transferring to Kirkwall after the blight.
Warrior class: dual sword wielder.

Sometimes he had a hard time understanding other motivations. But he could use this alliance or atleast a truce. âStep aside it needs more focused healing then a regular poulticeâ Tullius rolled up the end of his sleeves, placing his staff on the ground but close enough to grab just in case. He needed two hands for a proper healing spell.
âItâs a deep punctureâ he stated examining the wobbling beast.
She stepped back and looked at the horse concerned. She didnât know this manâs intentions, but when he placed his staff on the ground, she felt a little more at ease than she had before.Â
She kept her sword in her sheath, but rested her hand on its hilt. She watched as he examined the horse, pushing her hair out of her face. âWhy help?â She questioned. âA moment ago he was a beast to you, nothing of concern.â She cocked her head a bit.Â

âWeaklingsâ he whispered mocking at seeing how effective his spell was. They truly had it from the moment of surprise that they were successful bandits and not a matter of skill or strength. Atleast it seemed they were gone for now. Hopefully they would remain gone for the rest of his travel.Â
His eyes flashed up as he was called out. A small grin playing on his face, so who he had âsavedâ had not run off. Foolish but understandable. She was in luck he was no bear or carried more evil intentions with him.Â
âSuch demands, not even a proper thank you?â Tullius started as he stepped on the main road. Staff clutching in his hand, part of his spell still lurking on the skull that formed the top of it, giving a low hum, ready to be casted again if the other dared to attack him.Â
She looked at the stranger skeptically, her hands tight about the hilt of her swords. A mage. But he wasnât the one who attacked to begin with. âThat was your doing?â She questioned. âI thank you for stepping in.â She bowed her head ever so, never letting her eyes leave him. She relaxed just a bit but remained guarded.
âNow was it out of the kindess of your heart, or was there a motive?â She questioned, when suddenly her horse gasped, thrashing. She took a step back, absolutely stunned that the shot hadnât killed her horse, just stunned it. âNo, no no no.â She dropped to her knees, willing the beast not to thrash. âSsh, calm down boy. Itâs alright.â She reached for one of her packs and popped it open. Lyrium fell out as she grabbed at a couple poltices. âEverything is fine.â She whispered.
âIt wasâ the mage couldnât help but hum amused as she thanked him âMore like the benefit for both of us. You were a worthy distractionâ For now she seemed to be safe, or better said to occupied to be a real treat, but you could never be to careful. Keeping his staff close he approached her and the thrashing horse. Disgusting but fascinating sight that the beast had survived that attack.Â
âYouâre going to waste a good poltice on that beast?â Casually he leaned over keeping his gravity by holding his staff. Shaking his head disapproving, but then noticed the lyrium. If she carried that with her maybe she was more dangerous then he had estimated the warrior to be. âWhy so desperate to heal it?â
She hesitated, looking at him, then turned to apply the poultice. "This animal is a fine mount. He's been with me since the Blight in Ferelden and transfered with me to Kirkwall." She explained, petting it as he relaxed, huffing hard through his nostrils. "He is sturdy and reliable. He's helped me half a thousand times, I will not let him die without trying."
She shifted her second sword off her lap, tearing some of the ragged templar cloth from the bottom of her outfit and applied pressure, allowing the poultice to do its work. "What are your intentions now Mage?" She didn't look up. "Now that I am no longer serviceable as a distraction, would you have me killed?" She turned her head to glance at him. "If so you would be attacking the wrong side. You'd best not waist mana on massacring a neutral party." She pushed herself to her feet, helping the horse push himself up clumsily.
Velahari shakes his hand before going over to Bec and lifting her up from her crouched position. âYou donât need to bow or take a knee for me. I already have to many people doing that as it is.â Smiling at the other woman Velahari pats her shoulder starting to walk back toward camp. âCome our camp is this way and you need rest. Not trying to be offensive but you look as if a dragon shat you out.â
She laughed more openly than she seemed she should have and ran her hand through her hair, wiping a bit of sweat from her forehead. âI feel as if I have.â She admitted, following after her after. She took a quick detour, grabbing the remaining horses and their belongings, leaving Dennik to follow behind the Inquisitor closely.Â
âSo youâre an elf.â Dennik spoke, itching the side of his nose. Dennik was an attractive young man, an air of royalty about him -as he should. He was the youngest of a noble family of four sons. When one got the head of the house, one got the surrounding land, and the last got whatever businesses their father was invested in, there was nothing left for him to take over. So he was pretty much cast out and told to do whatever he wanted. He wanted fame and glory, so he became a Templar. âI bet the Chantry shit itâs knickers to find that the Inquisitor is an elf.â He smirked.Â
âI hope you excuse the Commander sheâs a bit...well...tightly wound.â He laughed, looking back over his shoulder as Bec ran the horses to catch up, double checking their supplies. âSheâs always been...very serious. Even her superiors have asked her to relax. She follows every rule by the book. Ah, but sheâs a wonderful woman.â He hummed wistfully. âBeautiful, beautiful woman.âÂ
Pulling up beside them, the reigns of the horses in hand, Bec looked at Velahari.Â
âI wish to offer my full services to you in anyway possible, Inquisitor. I...know good hiding spots. Caches and areas used for safe hideouts and key points of advantage in a battle. Perhaps...if possible, I could accompany you when you patrol? Maybe if they see that both Templarâs and Mages are willing to co-operate with the Inquisition, more people will be willing to help? I know there are handfuls of citizens who support the Templarâs but not the Mages, and therefore, refuse to support the Inquisition.â She gently pet the snout of the closest mare.Â

Velahari walks over and gently rests her hand on the other womanâs shoulder. âYou donât show any signs of the lyrium taking over, no growths, no random aggression. It might be that it has not taken over yet, you might be safe.â
Tapping her fingers against her leg Velahari sighed a little before saying anything again. âYou could be the perfect person to help us do that though. If it has not taken over you but it still is in your blood maybe someone at Skyhold could form some sort of cure for it and perhaps we could use that on other templars.â
âBut even if we are unable to find a cure for it the detox to get the red lyruim out of your system is not going to be pleasant, I donât know how bad it is for the regular stuff but its going to be several times worse.â
Asly looked at her concerned, then bit her lip, looking at Bec. âOh Maker,â she shifted, dropping her head. âIâŚIâmâŚI donât even think I can live without taking Lyrium, let alone live through a detox.â She admitted.Â
âI think, if it gives you a fighting chance, and if it presents a chance for others, that you should take it.â Bec replied, stepping up, her arms crossed. âIf not, then you just sit out here and die, or become a monster. This way, you can save others, and possibly survive yourself.â She explained. Asly didnât like the sound of it completely, but she knew that she was most likely going to die either way. If the infection of Red Lyrium didnât kill her, then the detox would, unless successful.
âuugh,â She groaned at last, eyes closing. âI accept terms.â She saluted, clicking her heels together. âI, Asly Daviis accept admission for study and testing of Red Lyrium to procure a viable cure, maâam!â Turning to face her, Bec, put her harms to her side and returned in an authoritive voice.Â
âI, Bec LâDieulafeaux, hereby accept transfer of Asly Daviis to Inquisition forces to serve until released. At ease, Asly.â She ran, then turned to Velahari. âYour camp is safer than out here? I take it your looking for allies for Inquisition forces?â She offered. âI have three fine warriors beneath my belt and a camp of mages and Templarâs. Spies, supplies and training to use at your disposal. I have but one request Inquisitor.âÂ
She knew that she shouldnât make demands, but she figured, that as long as it was submitted as a request, it wouldnât be too much. âI am well aware that one side sided with Corypheus, but there are many more out there who wish to be excluded from the fighting or have broken off from their main group. They may wear the enemies colors, but they are not working for Corypheus. I have a list of such people, Mages and Templarâs a like. Please, I wish you to show them mercy. Even if they have slighted the Inquisition. Even murder, please, when you judge them, remember that they act in fear and are following orders to keep their lives.â She hesitated then took a deep breath.
âIf you find these people, I request I accompany you. I have sent word, they know of my interest in their liberation from the hands of Corypheus. If you go alone, they may just attack and in so, lose their lives. If Iâm there, perhaps they will see itâs time to be freed and join the Inquisition. Their information would be invaluable, and their families grateful.â
Velahari watches the exchange between the two templars with interest. It was the first time that she had seen anything like it this close and she had to fight the urge to laugh. It seemed to formal, even though the situation was serious there was no need for such ceremony.
âMy camp is a lot safer then out here.â Velahari replies brushing some hair from her face. âI can not promise that I will be so fair as you ask. Fear maybe why they have taken the course they have but if the crimes are serious I can not allow them to get off without a punishment that fits the crimes. The inquisition is a political organization as much as it is a military one and if i were to become so lenient we would lose political standing and that could cause us grave harm.â
Sighing softly she looks up at the sky before back to the templar leader. âI can make you no promises but i will do my best, I have always tried to be fair. Which is more then most can say in these times.â Holding out her hand to the other woman Velahari wondered if that was good enough. âIf that is still acceptable I would be glad to have any help you and your men can provide.â
Waiting for the other woman to decide Velahari figured she might as well address the rest of what the woman had said. âYour people and supplies will me very welcome especially any information you have on the surrounding area. If you have anyone who can not or does not fight we could use them too in some form or another if they wished to be sheltered by the Inquisition.â
Bec dropped to one knee, bowing for her, the act even making her three comrades shift uncomfortably. "Thank you, Inquisitor." Coughing, Dennik dropped his gaze and stepped forward. "I'm just...going to...shake your hand...for her." He reached forward, shaking the Inquisitor's hand firmly, mouthing I am so sorry.
Velahari walks over and gently rests her hand on the other womanâs shoulder. âYou donât show any signs of the lyrium taking over, no growths, no random aggression. It might be that it has not taken over yet, you might be safe.â
