For Ducktale I made only Frisk but there also has to be Chara for every Undertale AU right? So I made them and decided to finally get down about how this AU generally would work.
In this AU, each kid is different right? So is the place they get into. Since they both fell at different times and heard about monsters differently, they acted with their own responses when they fell down into the realm where monsters were banished to.
Chara grew up when the monsters were only recently banished and they heard enough stories to know that not all monsters were bad. When she accidentally fell into the realm through the mountain, she wasn't really paying attention to where she was going. It's like something that stubborn and more confident children have in them..They moved forward to search in curiosity but also confusion since they never thought such clear sky and fresh grass place was the place where monsters got themselves into. The first monster she met was ironically Froggit. Froggit wasn't cautious around the human and didn't try to attack them, instead he was actually chilling on his swinging bed(whatever it's called idk). Chara was the one who forced him to go along the path with them, Froggit was annoyed, sure, but due to the stubbornness the child got he agreed and went along their journey. Chara held his hand tightly and Froggit figured out that Chara forced him to go with them purely because they were scared in this unfamiliar place. Froggit and Chara wandered a bit, he let Chara get to know the plants and the paths before they stumbled into Toriel's territory. Toriel got this haven, not her own home, but a haven specifically made for any stranded animal and monsters but..of course on this occasion even for a human like Chara.
Meanwhilee, Frisk grew up when the rumors about the past history with monsters were clouded by horrific events and the war that they had. In their mind, Frisk thought monsters were scary and cruel creatures to exist. That thought continued even when Frisk fell into the monsters realm. When they woke up, they felt the terrible feeling tightening in their chest and the crawling fear in their mind. It wasn't just about the unfamiliar environment but also because of the flower who talked with them.
I might actually talk about Frisk's experience in the monster realm in some other post cuz this is getting inconvenient. Here is some facts instead!
- Frisk got diagnosed with selective mutism at the age of 10 after a certain event in their life where they froze and didn't speak at all, causing concern from the school counsellor.
-Frisk likes pudding. Moreover, they like soft food with soft texture but not moist or dry.
-Ducktale Frisk is more filled with kindness than determination but the determination comes in when Chara is haunting the narrative.
