I spent the weekend in the woods
14.7.2022 🌥️ my second exam is tomorrow and i went outside for a spontaneous cramming session. i'm trying to harness that Big Brain Energy™ because it's really just a matter of learning everything by heart <3
Thursday, the 14th of July
I was not very productive yesterday but accepted it as my rest day for this week. My first instinct during exam preparation is always to cut out any breaks and hobbies which I should not do for my mental and physical health. I think it's just the panic kicking in but I need to work on that. Last night I saw The Little Shop of Horrors in an open-air theatre and I am just amazed by the actor of Seymour. He's been playing multiple roles in different plays the last couple of weeks and his voice and skill are astonishing. This year the ensemble is overall very impressive but my favourite piece by far is their adaptation of Monty Python and the Holy Grail.

i've updated the adhd playlist quite a bit since i last posted abt it, if anyone's curious!
You will get better, you will have the same fun you used to, if only you are patient and gentle with your own recovery: your body and mind need you more than ever now, take care of them first. They should be your priority.
to this day, pharmacology is one of the hardest subjects that i’ve had to learn. nothing will top critical care though, she was a BEAST
study tip: a little pharm review a day helps me to memorize the many, many drugs & side effects!

one thing that’s happened while i haven’t been posting original content is that i’ve officially finished school! i’m on study leave and will be doing exams from next week but i’m done with formal schooling. it was so weird to actually have a proper last week seen as my y11 leaving was very abrupt due to covid.

One of my lessons today was cancelled so I got to leave early which is the nicest thing, it's so nice and quiet on the way back. Here are a couple pages from my bujo from April! I've been putting a lot more effort into them, which is something I'd slowly just stopped doing over the span of last year and earlier this year. It's always so fun sticking everything in and it's something nice to look back on :)

Hi! It’s almost the end of our break and I don’t want it to end. 😭 I took the whole day off yesterday and spent the day in the gym and just watching kdramas for the rest of it 😌 I’ve been so productive today because I finally got to rest.
I also found this new trick of making boxes based on the pages I have to study. 15-24 pages are too long and compressed, which is usually how our topics are in different subjects. So I got this idea of drawing boxes on my planner (be it on paper or digital, I prefer on paper), and as I go through 24 pages of 1 topic, I shade the boxes on my breaks to see my progress and it works for me!!! Motivates me to move forward and finish shading the boxes. Will do this more often. Hope it helps! :)

yes this is half way through the month but at least it’s the right month! my may theme is inspired by the leaf doodles in heartstopper, which i watched soon after it came out. i thought it was really cute and definitely a story that needs to be told but probably aimed at a slightly younger age group. i did really love the doodles which is why i chose to recreate them in my planner!
The best part of being authentic is that there is no image to maintain. You will delight some and disturb others, and none of it will concern the truth of your being.
