Walking around in the city at night was really her thing, the stars and the moon looked so beautiful up in the sky. It was one of those night where everyone rather stayed at homeābut for Hyemin it was a night filled with adventures. The gardens of the city looked to empty and so dead, no one ever took care of the flowers around. No one cared about flowers in general, they just bought them for the ones they lovedāthey didnāt even know the meaning of the flowers. But she blamed herself for not telling them whenever they came to her shop to buy flowers for their loved ones.Ā
Hyemin put on her jacket and made her way out from her shop, and with her she brought a small basket of new and fresh flowers in case someone saw her.Ā
Spending at least two or three hours out there living up the flowers that had died in the cold, she was finally done and she had managed to plant the ones she had brought with her. These flowers would stay alive for eternity, but when she was about to walk past the small park she noticed how theĀ Rhododendrons wereĀ withered. Taking small steps towards them, she then crouched down and ran her fingertips along theĀ stalk of the flower as she hummed to a smooth melody, oblivious about the person that was standing behind her, watching everything she was doing. And there it was, theĀ Rhododendrons looked like they just had been newly planted.Ā
āI guess my work here is done, then.ā Hyemin said for herself before she stood up and dusted herself off. Smiling a bit for herself, she then turned around, and in just a second, her whole body froze to ice and her smile faded quickly. She was so sure that no one had been around, no one knew about her powers but now it seemed like everything wasĀ revealed. āā¦have you been here all the time?āĀ
There are days where silence is the key to everything. Days where silence is the only savior conveniently accessible for relaxation. These are the days dedicated to calm endeavors. These are the days in which Gain craves nothing but the simplicity of merely existing without thoughts of corruption or sin. There are times where she wanders aimlessly through the city, free from purpose or commitment to creating unnecessary chaos. She would enjoy the warming presence of the sun shining bright above her or the illuminating light cast upon the darkened streets by the moon. Her activities would consist of every little thing that did not involve too much thinking. From reading books she cared absolutely nothing about, to trekking alone through the park as she was doing now. That is, until she hears the quiet sound of footsteps approaching, causing her to stop immediately and spot the source,
Her interest piques when a petite female languidly strolls past, seemingly unknowing to her presence, instead concentrating on whatever planned destination straight ahead. Initially, frightening the stranger, to the point of screaming while scurrying away from the area, seems like the most entertaining option available, but she decides to merely watch. At least, for the moment. She lets the odd events play out before her without the conflict of interruption or distraction, not daring to make a single sound. The heavy silence is swiftly broken by the woman's humming, soft tone and melodic tune, as the wilting flowers are tended to. There are no tools, no watering can, no fertilizer to assist the plant in recovering from its dying state, yet with solely the gentle touch of the absentminded female, the brownish color staining delicate petals is quickly chased away by a faint lavender. Just like that, the flowers bloom as though they had never been withering seconds before.
"That's quite the talent you have there," she comments once she is finally discovered, nodding her head approvingly. The girl's face is a mixture of utter surprise and distress, smile hurriedly fading into nothing, appearing frozen in shock. Thus, Gain does not bother to answer the pointless question directed at her.Ā Apparently, the other had not considered the possibility of another hanging around the area before performing her little magic trick. Slowly, so as not to be seen as a potential threat, she walks over to stand beside the stranger, staring down at the revived flowers. It was interesting. Lifting her foot above the fragile plant, she brings down the sole of boot to crush the newly blooming flower, pulling apart both petals and stem with a rough drag. With an innocent, warm smile, she turns back to the female and nods to the destroyed greenery before saying, "Do it again."
