it’s so frustrating to see how a black character like sam wilson, despite being a leader and competent, honest and loyal and other lovely qualities, still is considered less than his white counterparts. he’s constantly belittled, criticized and questioned, like he committed unforgivable crimes, when all he’s done is not being passive, doing what he believe is right and speaking up against injustice. how dare he.
they claim they don’t like him because he’s boring because he’s just a human without any ”real” powers and can only rely on his suit. what about tony stark then? why does this argument apply to one person but not the other?

edit: this applies to other black characters as well. people will find any minuscule reason under the sun why the black characters sucks in their opinion. the white characters could be literal murderers and people will call them ”complex”. black characters (and other characters of color) are not allowed the same grace.

I've never shopped on AliExpress so of course it's going to show me ads to get interested, except I just saw an ad for one of your necklaces and it has a swastika on it. I wanna say tell me this isn't what it looks like, but there's nothing else you can tell me what this is.
Now I have no clue what the angle was for this, but this in every context is appalling. Stay aware of the brands you're supporting and buying from.
You’re probably gonna think I’m tweaking but I’m pretty sure those are meant to be Buddhist swastikas, considering AliExpress is a Chinese-based company. Notice how they’re facing the left, vs the right like how Nazis typically depict it (although, having it face the right isn’t technically incorrect either; Buddhists typically use the left-facing swastika whereas Jains and Hindus use the right-facing one, but both positions have symbolic meanings for each religion)
Furthermore, Adolf Hitler himself never referred to the swastika as such. Instead, he called it the hakenkreuz, to further distance it from the cultural and religious origins of the symbol.
It’s also important that you know that the swastika also exists in several cultures, including Judaism, far outside its appropriation by violent fascists, and here are some examples:
I don't think you're tweaking, but I also live in America right now. I know that with the rise of Naziism and Nazi ideology here in America, it is going to reach people who will buy this, not because it reminds them of the Buddhist swastika, but because they can use that same reasoning to hide their true ideals.
Your take does bring a bit of clarification though, so I'm going to hold out hope. The hope is as strong as wet saltines, but it's there.
