Prism Falls’ Masquerade Open Starter — Mid-way though the Evening
“Oh, darling, this is just my first outfit of the evening. Nothing says ‘top b—h’ like a wardrobe change,” Cassandra informed her current companion, spinning in her currently golden and extravagant gown, crown on her head and simple pearl and gold mask on her face. “Imagine, the magic of an outfit change!” she clasped her hands together excitedly, “now, would you assist me in changing please? I cannot lace the back of the dress up myself unfortunately,” she sighed.
“I can see that,” she said quietly, her tone warm but never intrusive. “There’s something almost… magical about the way a masquerade lets everyone step into another life, if only for an evening.” Her gaze flicked to Cassandra’s gown, eyes bright with curiosity “You wear it beautifully.”
At the mention of custom pieces, Adelaide’s smile softened further, though her voice like a dove . “I’ve always admired people who know exactly what they want and aren’t afraid to have it made just so. I think that kind of certainty is its own art.”
