Do you know how much harder it is to dominate your life now that we’re adults and not neighbors? Back then, all I had to do was waltz into your house, make myself comfortable and steal your clothes. Now I actually have to put effort into getting your attention, that's so unfair and annoying.

I mean, I'm not totally convinced you didn't follow me out here on purpose, so it's not like we're a million miles apart. My mom's gonna be here for the weekend, and so are Josie's parents. We're hosting Thanksgiving this year. You and Roman are welcome to join if you want to, but let me know ASAP so we can make sure we have extra food.

I mean, I don't bite them... I also don't do much with them, though. I just keep them short and, like, rarely paint them or anything. I guess if you wanna try a design, though, that'd be okay.

You're so right, I have not, I got caught up in post lockdown stuff and in Halloween, what terrible potential bridesmaid behaviour of me, but I am the best at organising parties, you know this!!! Okay, important questions, how do we feel about a theme party??? Josie's favourite colour??? Days you both have free??? And also your favourite places to eat and drink because god knows we don't need my cooking to spoil the party...

No one asked me about my favorite color, otherwise maybe I would've talked about that instead. There's something about how much you're protesting this that makes me think maybe there's some jealousy there or something. You know I could rec some pretty good places to buy your own, right? Okay, whoa, wait, we don't need a party, you can just take us to dinner or something. Our families are all gonna be here for Thanksgiving next week, and between my mom and Josie's dad, I wouldn't dare to take away planning an engagement party from them.
