James grit his teeth. “What the fuck do you mean ‘I don’t understand’”

“You’re not listening to me,” Regulus said, stepping closer.

“Oh i’m sorry? I’m sorry I don’t want to listen to how you brought him to our house, did it in our bed, he ate our food!”

“I was drunk!” Regulus exclaimed.

“So? I’ve been drunk plenty of times. Tell me once when i’ve cheated on you, Regulus.”

The usually dim lights of their apartment shown too bright now. The big light was on, even though Regulus hated it. James no longer cared.

“Oh come on! You may have not cheated but you’ve definitely thought about it!” Regulus said, throwing his hands up.

James’s face became neutral. “No, Regulus. You were my life. I would have rather cut off my own dick, than cheat on you.”

“Well maybe then you’re too soft.” Regulus scoffed.

“Me? Soft? You’re soft. You’re too soft to have denied the cheating. But then again, you’re probably the one who wanted him to have you, huh? You’ve wanted Barty forever. I was back up.”

“James,”

“No. No. Get out. I won’t be backup anymore.” James said, his voice breaking. Instead of waiting for Regulus to answer, he turned around, heading to their bedroom. “You might as well stay at his.”
