“Sounds like you’ve had a long day. People are just lazy, they’ll do anything that stops them from going out of their own way.”

“Incompetent is what they are, if they are incapable of completing one simple little task.”

“That’s a really good question and one I cannot give you an answer on”

“How incredibly helpful of you.”

“If it makes you feel batter, I plan on buying this.” Bonnie said holding up a book and smiling.

“Good choice.” Addison beamed, eager to make her first sale of the day. “I can ring you up at the counter if you’re ready to check out.”

“You’re a lifesaver, Addison. I’ve been looking for a job during almost a month and I couldn’t find anything that caught my eye, It’s perfect!”

“Tell me something I don’t know. I’m in need or a cashier and a salesperson. Personally, I think the salesperson position is the much more enjoyable of the two.”

“For what it’s worth, books are one of my favorite things in the world. So if you need a hand, I’d be happy to help.”

“They are one of my favorite things as well; books and fashion. You know, I am looking to hire a few extra sets of hands, if you’re interested.”

“Laziness or either they do not see it’s their job to put the books back. I do not see the problem how it can be so damn difficult to put back a book where it belongs. Could they take themselves there, they can go back with it”

“That is precisely my point. As the owner, it technically isn’t my job either, but I do it anyway. All of the shelves are labeled, so it isn’t that difficult. I can’t stand disorganization though, so I suppose I would simply rather do it myself if they aren’t going to do it correctly, or not at all in this case.”

“One or.. three of those were me. I realized a little too late that I had gone over my monthly budget…” By the time she had, she’d forgotten where she had already been. “Did you already put them back? I’m more than willing to help.“

"At least you actually intended to purchase a book, unlike the other imbeciles who believe that my bookstore is some sort of hangout.” She stated, shaking her head in sheer annoyance. “You could help with this stack, if you’d like. I sort them by genre, and then alphabetically.”

“Sorry, love, haven’t seen her since this morning. Can I give her a message for you?”

“I have to do a project on existentialism for one of my literature classes. I thought that she might be able to provide some insight.”  

“It definitely did.” Maya agreed. “Could I make it work though?” She asked hopefully.

“Well,” Addison let out a sigh as she looked over the outfit. “I suppose you could pull the skirt down a little, and that would help. You don’t want to look too risque on a first date.”

“Okay when I asked for your help in picking a suitable date outfit this isn’t what I had in mind.”

“You’re right; I think it looked better on the hanger.”
