Found this beautiful praying mantis hanging out in my front garden this morning. The 2nd pic was taken an hour after the first, during which time it shed it's skin & it's wings developed. The 3rd pic is just a few hours later, during which time it's colors blossomed & wings expanded, further showing the rapid development of this amazing little creature! So last night this happened after The Black Queen show!!!! Had the complete honor of meeting the AMAZING Greg Puciato!!!! He's pulled me in for a sing/scream along before, but this was next level for me! Anyone who knows me, knows my love for The Dillinger Escape Plan is above all else, and Greg is a long time hero of mine as well as my favorite vocalist of all time! Their music gives me infinite strength when needed most & an breakable will & fight. Such a genuine, humble, truly nice guy, and he took the time to talk to me on a personal level & actually gave a shit about what I had to say, which truly means a lot to me!!!! Never thought it was possible, but I found even more space in my heart to love this band more than I already do!!!! Oh yeah, The Black Queen completely killed it last night too, so if you missed this show, shame on you! Incredible live music is always worth traveling for, and a 5 hour round trip is fuck all compared to what I received in the experience!
