Adaline Violet Haley

Hello everyone and welcome to The Plague (working title)!

My name is Adaline Violet Haley. I'm a queer and trans independent author who writes about the darkness of reality and the human experience, with a focus on mental health. My current project is called The Plague, as of right now.

This story takes place in Solar System 2,005-CSBG, know as Solar System Italy (name is possible to change). Our characters live on planet Lifedon, which is like Earth for our solar system, but they will be spending most of their time on planet Renaissance which is another planet in Solar System Italy.

In this book we will be following our characters Zeke, Annalie, Nin, Comrade and Enzo. These characters make up a small military Unit call LifeBird.

The auditorium was the very opposite of quiet. Unit’s talking in excitement, looking for seating and not being able to agree. Zeke simply sat down and radioed to his Unit where he was at. He has no understanding how these other Unit Officers got their job when they couldn’t even get their team to sit together.

It took at least thirty minutes to get all the Units inside the auditorium and seated, but once done silence took over. Zeke clenched his hands to hide sweaty his palms. He tried his hardest not to look at his Unit members, for he feared that his nervousness was readable.  

Meet Nin! Nin is strong headed but also gentle. She is very good at balancing the two and questions Zeke as a leader the most out of Unit LifeBird.  

She has dusty purple skin, three green eyes and no hair, as is perusal for her race. She’s one of the tallest members and has very long and thin fingers that look slightly disproportionate from her body.    

Nin comes from a family of Harbain immigrants. She lost her little brother to murder during her childhood. This was her soul reason for joining the ISS into the medical field.  

Nin comes from the planet Herb. Natives from this planet are known for having colorful skin tones, most commonly green and purple and a third eye. The third eye can have many different uses. But it is known for detecting heat and x-raying through a limited number of things. These features were used for survival but now they are used to advance their civilization within their careers. When they are not using their third eye they keep it close.  

Because of Herbian’s third eye Nin was pushed heavily by the ISS to become a sniper, but she stood strong in her decision. 

Her goal through her job is to fight for other immigrants who are trying to get citizenship or those who don’t have that option. By being in a smaller team she believes it will be easier for her to manipulate her Unit to reach her goal and let immigrants off the hook when deserved.

Meet Zeke, the protagonist of The Plague. Zeke is a human who has lived on planet Lifedon his whole life. He has pale tan skin, black well-kept hair and light brown eyes. His face and body are very structured and chiseled.  

He his work oriented, proud and confident, even though these characteristics sound good they end up becoming his downfall.  

He is part of a proud 1st generation ISS (Itay Solar Security) family. He grew up in a traditional household, with his dad being the breadwinner and his mom staying at home. Although, Zeke's mom has never worked a day in her life but is very smart and holds a decorate in engineering. Zeke looked up to his dad as a role model and cared deeply for his mother.

When Zeke was born, his dad made the goal to go as far up the work branch as possible to make more money to provide for his growing family. He made it to Unit Leader before passing in a work accident. Ever since Zeke wanted to hold the same goal for himself and complete it for his dad, his mother pushes and encourages this idea.  

The ISS now gives Zeke’s mom an allowance as forgiveness for the passing of her husband and all the rest of the money is given to her by Zeke. No one expect Zeke’s higher ups, who knew his dad, know about what he is providing for his mom.
