clueless is my OTP

This was a fun challenge and I actually found a pretty simple solution! I have added the code for hiding specific types of tags after a certain number to my utility site skin add-ons file on GitHub (in the "Hide/Modify Specific Tags" section).

I have also added an optional placeholder to show when tags got hidden:

Yes, that’s something that can be easily done with a site skin!

I have added the code to permanently replace "beta" with "omega" or anything else you like to my utility snippets file (in the "Hide/Modify AO3 Header Elements" section).

setup steps:

click the code link above — it’ll open a long block of code. copy all of it (don’t include the title). it’s way easier to do this on desktop since mobile has copy limits

on AO3, go to your username → dashboard → skins → create site skin

give it a unique title, paste the CSS you copied, then scroll down and hit submit

once it’s created, just click “use” to apply the skin 🦋
