You start out in your apartment. You can’t leave. It’s the only safe haven you have. You look outside at people living their lives and think “why not me?” You try to call someone but can’t. Everything is grey and mundane. You wish you could retreat further, escape inwards. You go through a hole in the bathroom wall. It’s full of demons, but at least it’s not here. You come back to reality, things have changed. Your safe haven is no longer safe, people are trying to get in and there are things moving inside the walls. Staying here hurts you but you have no other choice. You find people in your desperate search for solace but they don’t see the world the way you do. You end up hurting them.
