are you gold. Espresso at Mudhouse Coffee (Charlottesville, VA). Cute spot, but it’s disappointing that a “Good Food Award Winner” and “Roaster of the Year Finalist” serves espresso in paper cups.

Plowshares A-Train Espresso at Tar PIt. There are a lot of reasons why one might serve an espresso in a paper cup, but in my experience the most common are laziness, and ambivalence about the product. Pretty sure he was guilty of both.

Joe Coffee’s Waverly Espresso at Caffé Lilia. As a long time regular at Joe (Waverly), it’s comforting to see Chef Missy Robbins featuring their coffees at her new restaurant (and cafe) in Brooklyn.
