I've been into TF2 for about 3 1/2 years. I stick around because I remain infatuated with mediscout... to my chagrin.
I follow "don't like don't read" ideology... that being said, fictional things aren't real. If you are sensitive to dark themes (mainly cannibalism), I am not someone you should follow.

I do want to clear the air, I CAN appreciate a nice mediscout dynamic. My old moniker was "mediscout ceo" , still is among my friends, and I love all mediscout. I am just especially mentally ill and the real sick shit makes me think harder and with more passion! I'm Jimmy Neutron brain blasting it, if you will. Now I'm gonna tell you something I tell only a few people... robomercs are my favorites. Throws hands up. I haven't outwardly stated this since I was 15, but I am robotkin! I always relate to/enjoy a good old automaton character, especially ones with sentience or a built in code of ethics. It just seems like no one else cares for the robomercs :(
I like robosexual Medic because I usually headcanon him as aroace in some way. I am VERY liberal with my headcanons so it all changes depending on the very specific situation I am thinking of. If Medic is NOT aro in the situation I am twisting around in my mind 3d apple style, I just like to think he's a pathetic man who yearns for what he can't have, so the best he can do is a robotic version of it. Whispers sweet nothings into roboScout's face plates as he canvases his bare hands over his chassis ... gulps.
There is also Medic yearning for dead wife Scout and using a robot Scout to cope! OR ,(my favorite) Scout dies and Medic transfers his conscious into a robot! It's like that scene from robocop where they show him he only has like 2 organs and a hand left. I am a sucker for loss of humanity trope. An unfinished fic about this has been at the bottom of my Docs gathering dust for a very long time
If you have an object you can infinitely project your expectations onto and program it to meet them with flying colors, why would you WANT a real person? Cue engiemedic x robot Scout. Absolute cinema!
