I think one of the hooded figures MC saw in her visions is actually her.

She’s hooded in both parts of the tapestry that appears at the opening of every chapter.

She sees two figures in the vision: one looming over Arthur and Lancelot during their battle, the other across the way.

She’s on the side where they are fighting (you can see Excalibur in the ground)

And little dude across the river … I think it’s Merlin.

Look at the robe.

We don’t know if these hooded shadow figures are good or bad, she just assumes they must be bad because they’re creepy hooded figures in smoke and fire, so why wouldn’t she?

Dear people, it FINALLY happened! Lancelot has finally admitted he’s in love with MC!

Now, given that BOMBASTIC finale, I wonder what happened for those who chose Arthur/Artura. Because MC is arrested due to infidelity, I’m guessing that if MC chose Arthur/Artura, she couldn’t be arrested on such grounds, right???

And I’m so STUPID that I didn’t even think of playing this chapter again to see what would be the outcome if I didn’t chose Lancelot.

It doesn’t make much sense the infidelity accusation when she says she loves Arthur/Artura. They should’ve come up with another excuse, Idk?

This is pretty standard Choices, timelines might change but the story is pretty linear and in this case it isn't even really thst much of a stretch. Regardless of what did or didn't happen, Lancelot is still in MC's room alone at night, it is still suspicious and looks terrible.

And I thought it very nice that Arthur/Artura have taken notice of their proximity, cause in some choices books when you have to choose between LI’s sometimes one of them doesn’t even take notice. It’s as if you didn’t chose somebody else or cheated on them or something like that.

I have to admit chapters 10 and 11 finally gave a little romance and I like what we got, but I feel like the build up could be better. Like it’s a slow burn, but it just feels like nothing is happening, a good slow burn should have pining and longing. I remember how I (and the entire fandom) was ready to combust waiting for the 30 diamond scene with Antony or the whole build-up with Drake in TRR (they ruined him in later books' but I don’t think there are many scenes that beat the train scene and “you are all my temptations”), the problem with Wake the Dead is they aren’t building it, except the occasional diamond scene and there is so much potential and it feels like they are wasting it.

This was a good first kiss though:

And then he pulls back and it is just done and I didn’t hate it, because it was in character, but I feel like they could have done a little more?

Although chapter 11 did hit harder romancing Eli and this goodbye kiss
