im still busy with school, but things are wrapping up. soo im opening some high artist freedom comms, where you give me a character + some of your favorite kink/fetish gear and I draw them wearing it!

YES absolutely i love you for asking!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! those two specifically come from very specific but very different places so ill go into them here :3

so the wire piece ("contours of self") is a piece very much about the concepts of sin and of holy violence. the upper figure (which i call the bull or the sinner) is a sinner, complete with curved hornes, a pointed tail, and a big, broad spiky back. the lower figure (which i call the unicorn) has a warped horn (a little hard to see in my pictures of it, better closeups coming soon i swear!!), a long mane that forms a gentle halo on the ground, and a long tail with tufts of fur at the end—reminiscent of medieval depictions of unicorns. reading the piece as animals in combat, the sinner should be winning as it's on top and trampling the unicorn. but looking closer, it's not. this piece also has a moving/kinetic component in the form of the single organs suspended within the negative space of the animal's chests. the unicorn has a stomach, and the sinner has a heart—which dangles precariously if the piece is jostled at all. additionally, the unicorn's horn is partially piercing the sinner's chest and is pointed right at it's heart. so anyway, its a piece about the perceived dynamics of sin/virtue and the reality of those dynamics—and also the ways that vessels of holy violence often metabolize those they view as sinners, when the sinners have more heart, and also much more to lose from a struggle! it's ALSO very obviously about how sin and virtue are one in the same (hence the title, and the fact that the bodies of the sinner and unicorn are formed of the same piece of wire!), or two sides of the same coin. this war against sin and the violence in attempts to burn it out take place within the self.

by colour palette i assume you're talking about "value"! this was a very experimental and abstract piece i made for a class. the assignment was to create a piece of art by manipulating a collection of other digital images. my collection of images comes from a list of the 19 (iirc?) most expensive paintings ever sold, collected here:
