Yeah, that made sense. Rick isnât so sure he would want to get into the specifics of why he was in the hospital, himself â not that it was as serious as some other folks that were there, that he knew for certain. But it was still ⊠hard for him to talk about. That is, if someone didnât recognize who he was; those who recognized him knew of the accident. It was a televised race, after all.
âA month, huh? I donât envy ya, kid.â Weak heart ⊠shit. Made his problems seem so little, compared to what this kid has to go through. âYeah, I had an ⊠accident, awhile back. I have to come in regularly to be checked out, & to go through physical therapy.â Though heâs not sure the physical therapy is helping like HE wants it to.
Rick sighed & leaned back in his seat, turning slightly to face Sho. âYou must get bored having to stay here.â
âAh, that explains it.â He hummed and gave a small nod, not prodding anymore into the subject of the otherâs accident. He wouldnât force Rick to talk about it, just like he wouldnât force anyone to talk about why they were here. He had simply pointed out an observation he had made. After all... âI people watch, and read, but yeah, it gets boring.â
He chuckles sheepishly, scratching at his cheek. âThis operation is supposed to help me alot, so I might have more energy to do things once Iâm actually out of here.â He was starting to feel like that day wouldnât come, but he shakes his head slightly. He had to stay positive.
âI wasnât really an active person before, I couldnât be. But maybe Iâll try something new. You never know what else youâll be interested in until you try something, right?â
