Lucy hadn’t seen him since early that past summer, when the blonde was carefree and doing whatever the hell she wanted without a care in the world, Campbell being on that list. The last time she had talked to him was to call to tell him that she had been pregnant, but after that- accident, it was just too hard. She didn’t talk to him. She didn’t talk to anyone, really. It was all too devastating for her. So when she spotted him in the halls of North Lake like she knew she eventually would, her hand instinctively smoothed over her stomach, swallowing hard and keeping her gaze down in hopes he wouldn’t notice her as the two began to walk past each other.
Lucy was the last person Campbell expected to see in the halls of North Lake. he figured she moved away or something, with her situation, or what he was last told her situation was, by her. So, when he saw her, flat stomach and all, he walked over to her, "uh hey Lucy," he said awkwardly, rubbing the back of his neck as his confused eyes lay on her stomach.
