—”Well that depends,” Jas smiled at the other, leaning over his counter a bit. “What about cats?”

“Just like natural remedies and stuff. My cat is sick and I’m trying to figure out a better way than taking him to the vet again...” He looked about ready to cry, oh wait, there are already tears in his eyes. Clearly the bus ride over here had given him too much time to think about what his life would be like if one of his kitties passed away.

          “You think he would have wanted you to hear him?” Idiot. Kids were really dumb. Why was he asking him what to do? “You don’t have to worry about him coming back.” He’s already taken care of. So he should be fine staying here, though it was a pathetic excuse of living. “But I dunno why you’d stay here and live like shit.”

         “I guess you’re right...” Just who is this kid anyways? “I don’t? Why not? And well, it’s not as if I’ve got anywhere else to go.” It was the life he chose and the easiest way to move around a lot was to never settle down.

     He wasn’t really thinking clearly. Well, he was thinking clearly – but those thoughts were set on the fact that this guy was an idiot! Two towns over – freezing to death – ugh! Idiot! When he asked about Jin, Mao looked over his shoulder at him with puffed up cheeks as he continued to tug him along.        “My Brother’s home! It’s not far, and I can’t take you home – can I!? You’re not a cat, stupid!”

         "You’re allowed to take cats home?” Junichi’s logic was a special kind of dumb. Of course he willing followed this strange man to wherever it was he was taking him. This guy seemed just a bit too stubborn to let him protest much more. Not to mention, he looked sort of sickly so it wouldn’t be too hard to run away if it came to that.

     Had he known the strangers thoughts, he would have sympathized. But he didn’t, and was more concerned about him freezing to death. “Because I don’t want you to die, stupid!” he said at him, before yanking him along. He couldn’t take him home and while it had been — a while — since he saw his Brother . . it looked like Jin was the only option to house the wanderlust idiot for the night. “Don’t worry, my Brother is — nice!” Way to talk without explaining. 

           Junichi was stunned, he had never had anyone be so concerned with his well being. It was almost suspicious. Brother? Just how many men where there going to be now? Why was his brother even brought up? So many questions and yet Junichi could only make incomprehensible noises. It wasn’t until they had gone nearly a block that his mind stopped buffering enough for him to get out some words.                       “Wait your brother? Where exactly are we going?”
