╚❖╗ ;;              He did this most every night. Same sidewalk,              same street, under the same lamppost, against              the same wall, doing the same thing. Smoking              a cigarette, thinking about his past. Call him              nostalgic, but it was pretty much the only way              he kept going.

             What few people were out this late at night              left him alone, for the most part. A stray eye              or curious glance here or there, but generally              left to his affairs. Not this night. For some odd              reason, there was a figure on the other side of              the street, staring at him. Had been for the past              several minutes, and while Faust didn’t enjoy              being rude, he enjoyed being stared at even              less. So the knight pulled his cig’ from his lips,              and scowled over at the other in the dim light              of the lamppost, blowing out some smoke.
