Over curbs His legs are stilts As the knee bend, strengthless Wilts The morning lost; Routine forgot Lost between pages With a forget-me-knot Abstract memories Sliding, slip As others On his laces trip Short term The senses stay. No distinction Between night and day On morning Moons His eyeballs graze, Trapped behind A shiny glaze His tail trails away And In circles follows His disarray
