i have almost 1000 physical games. i just did a quick count and about 128 of those have female protagonists. 12.8% . almost 2% of that is just tomb raider and metroid. i was being generous and including games where the female protag has an equal amount of time as a male protag like RE2. did not include games like L4D where its one woman to 3 men. i also made no judgement on if its good representation or not. and i go out of my way to buy games with female protags btw. like have any of u even heard of Urban Chaos, Dragons Blood or Bullet Witch? yeah. exactly. 12.8%
