Cece/Charlotte knows everything about the liars including Hanna’s issues with her dad.

She found out that Hanna’s dad decided to pay for Kate’s college instead of Hanna’s.

Also she noticed that when the liars escaped the dollhouse Hanna’s dad didn’t come see her once.

Mr.D never came to visit Cece/Charlotte in Radley, didn’t accept her as transgender, and was the reason she got sent to Radley in the first place.

Charlotte’s mother was the only one who loved her and knowing that Toby thought Marion killed herself and chose to leave him killed her inside.

*I HATED the Sara reveals. By making this theory I am not supporting the fact that she is RC/BW. But none of us can change it. But we can try to see WHY she is RC/BW.*

I want to begin by pointing out that Redcoat, at times, seems to have something against Hanna.

After that scene happened, Sara rescued all of the girls except Hanna at the Thornhill Lodge.

Also in this scene, Redcoat is watching Hanna,

And then this happens(We know this was done by a black hoodie, but Sara was the one giving the orders on behalf of CeCe at this point):

“Okay cool but why do you think she’s Hanna’s sister?” 

 The above scene happened in “The Mirror Has Three Faces”, when Sara/CeCe were trying to frame Hanna for Alison’s(who we now know is Bethany’s) murder. Bethany stole CeCe’s clothes that night in order to use CeCe’s privileges. So I believe she also wore the bracelet in order to look even more like CeCe. Traces of Alison’s blood and Hanna’s blood were found on the bracelet. At this point CeCe didn’t know Alison was alive, so there’s no way she got Alison’s blood. But what could CeCe have done? Put her own blood in the bracelet knowing it’s the same type as Alison’s. Wilden tells Hanna they also found the same type of blood as her, and this was before the blood drive and therefore before A could get the liars’ blood. So how did CeCe get the same blood type as Hanna on the bracelet? By using Sara’s blood.

Although there are constant references to Ashley not being an angel and having skeletons in her closet, I don’t think she has a secret illegitimate child.

This may not be valid reasoning, but her selfless behavior towards Hanna just makes it unreasonable for her to abandon a child. But you know who not only would abandon a child, but actually has already done it?

Tom Marin. We don’t know why Ashley and Tom divorced. In Rosewood, the town of affairs and unusual relationships, I would not be surprised if Tom had an affair that resulted in Sara. This would also explain Ms. Harvey’s distant behavior towards Sara. Also Sara has mentioned her father:

“Pretend my dad would come back and he’d be different if he did.” I see theories about it, saying her dad could have a mental illness. But what if the “different” is simply Sara wanting her dad to be more affectionate/caring, the same thing Hanna wants?

I believe the affair happened while Tom was married to Ashley. So obviously, Tom had to separate time between work, Ms. Harvey and Sara, and Ashley and Hanna. The obvious result? Work and Ashley/Hanna received most of his time. Sara grew up, barely seeing her dad. Ashley found out about the affair and that’s why they divorced. And when Sara was older, she found out about Ashley and Hanna. Maybe that’s why she was in Rosewood that night, because she wanted revenge on Ashley and Hanna. I think CeCe originally did kidnap Sara as an alternative to Alison, but then Sara found out they had common interests, and an alliance was formed. You may be wondering why doesn’t Sara attack Kate and Isabel? Because in Sara’s mind, Ashley and Hanna took Tom and ruined Sara’s childhood. When Tom left Ashley, the damage was already done.

It would also explain the parallel between these 2 scenes,  CeCe looking into the DiLaurentis house, and Sara looking inside the Marin house.

In a reply to a previous post someone said that they thought Toby could be A, and I think right now he’s my first suspect as well!

Toby is particularly sketch because he seems to most involved with the girls’ lives and investigation when there’s something that they’re close to finding out about A. He’s missing for long periods of time, we don’t know much about his life outside of his interactions with Spencer, and he could clearly have motive.  At the end of this theory, Toby has lost every family member who cared about his well being. His mom and sister are both dead, and he’s stuck living with a father and a step family that allow his step sister to assault him. Uber A stole the game from Mona right around the time that it was realized that the Body was not Ali’s, and that it was the body of Bethany Young. We’re going to feel sorry for A when we learn their motive, and what sadder motive could there be than having everyone you love taken away from you.

Here is my Toby is A theory:

No one calls mental institutions “Sanitariums” now - not only is that not PC but it’s also just uncommon enough that I’m pretty sure the choice to call it Radley Sanitarium was a conscious one and is a clue. Radley Sanitarium is an anagram for Mary A. DiLaurentis. Based on this and their physical similarities I believe that Mrs. DiLaurentis and Toby’s mother, Mrs. Cavanaugh, are sisters, and I also think that there is some evidence that Bethany is her daughter. I could go more into details that support this relationship but I want to keep this short.

That means Mrs. DiLaurentis is having an affair with her sister’s husband - which I assume wouldn’t go over well with Mrs. Cavanaugh. They get into an argument at Radley over it, and in a fit of jealousy and spite Mrs. DiLaurentis pushes her sister off the edge, with no one to witness it but Bethany. 

Mrs. D tries to bribe her, tries to get close to her by asking her to call her Auntie, but nothing will work. As we heard from the recording Spencer and Mona found, Bethany thought that Mrs. D was nothing but a terrible liar. Mrs. D knows that Bethany is the only person who was witness to the murder of her sister, so she decides to get rid of Bethany.  Ali got the yellow top from her mother the day that she went missing. She had asked her mom for it before, but but it wasn’t untilthat day her mom gave it to her. If Ali didn’t know she had the top, how could she have sent a matching one to Bethany? She couldn’t have.

Mrs. D sent Bethany the yellow top, signed from Alison so that it would be less suspicious, so that it would be harder for the people from Radley to identify her once she “escaped”. She was going to have someone kill Bethany for her, but they attacked Alison by accident instead.

Other clues that point to Toby being A

It’s insanely untrustworthy for him to join the A team, even if it was to “protect Spencer”. I don’t think I’m alone when I say there’s a lot more to it than that.

In the early seasons, we often saw A wearing a leather jacket, as opposed to the current black hoodie. Toby was the only character that routinely wore a leather jacket wherever he went.

The “Pretty Eyes” nickname given to him by the waitress at the diner points to the fact that he’s been on the A team far longer than he’s letting on. 

When Toby makes Emily her mix tape, the image on the back looks eerily like Radley, which seems out of place and like an early clue.

In season 1 Spencer is tutoring Toby in French, and at the end of the episode A is listening to a french tape

Toby is working a lot in the show, almost constantly, and so it would make sense that he would be able to bankroll some of As pricier habits. 

We also know at this point there’s only one active “A” on the show, and Toby seems like one of the few characters who would be able to do this without help

So that’s an idea of the motive that Toby could have, as well as the clues that we have that point towards him being A!

Looking back, one question we still don’t know the answer to is why Ali was taking those weird pictures of Aria that Jason developed. Jason said she wasn’t into photography, and the film was hidden. 

We know the least about the relationship between Ali and Aria, and the fact that Ali was taking these creepy pictures while Aria slept and then hiding them makes it seem like the relationship could be more complicated than first thought. 

In the last episode, we learned more about A than ever before, maybe even enough to fill in the whole story. The first big mystery, who is Charles? We know three pieces of information about him that allow us to figure this out.

We know that Charles’ senior prom, the one he was recreating for the girls, had the same theme as Melissa’s class and would have taken place 7 years ago. Melissa is 24, meaning that if Charles was in that same graduating class (or should have been) he would be similar in age. With this info, let’s go ahead and limit people who could be Charles to characters who are ages 23 to 25. There are 5 characters who would fit this age restriction: Melissa. Cece, Ezra, Jason, and Wren. However, we know that Charles is a man so it’s down to Ezra, Jason, and Wren. We also know that Ezra was with the police when Charles was at ‘prom’, only leaving Jason and Wren. 

That’s where the video comes in. This cannot be Charles, Jason, and Ali, the ages just don’t line up. There’s a 7 year age difference between Jason and Ali, and there is no way these boys are 7 years old, they look closer to 4. Knowing that one of the boys is Charles, the only other male character similar enough in age to be the second little boy is Jason. 

Which means the only person Charles could be while maintaining the timeline (unless they introduce a new character) is Wren. 

As many people pointed out on my previous post though, if Charles is Wren that would make it super gross that he was engaged to his half sister (and made out with the other one!) 

This is a great clue though - The ages in the video show that it wouldn’t make sense for that to be Ali that Ms. DiLaurentis is holding, and the only person who could be Charles wouldn’t make sense as a third DiLaurentis child. PLL loves to trick us and this video is misleading, we’re not looking at Ali, Jason, and Jason’s twin Charles.
