Hello! I’m Sapph! Welcome to my rp blog! This pinned post is to give you all a condensed run down of the rules and the main verses I have for Rogue!

Rules (*feel free to just read the bolded lines, the rest elaborates <3):
Do not follow or interact with this blog unless you’re 18+!!! Mun is around 30 and doesn’t feel comfortable interacting with minors. It’s no offense to you if you are a minor, I just feel awkward about it.
Hate and cruelty will not be tolerated! I come here for an escape, so if you’re being hateful / reblogging hateful content / sending hateful messages / etc then you’ll be unfollowed and hard blocked. I just don’t mess with that, okay?
I’m a fairly slow replier most of the time. Short threads usually get quicker replies, even though I generally prefer longer replies. If I take more than a week to reply to something, just give me a nudge in a message and I’ll make sure to add that reply to the top of my “to do” list! I try not to intentionally drop threads, but if it happens I’ll try to let you know <3
My OOC communication is especially spotty, and I apologize in advance ^^; I’m absolutely the worst at talking ooc sometimes. I have a tendency to reply to messages in my head and then forget to actually do it. Sometimes I’m late to reply because I’ve had a rough work week. But mostly I just read messages and then think “I’ll get to that later” and then later is, like, a month later.

In all verses, my Rogue is PANSEXUAL. So all sorts of ships are welcome and encouraged! I’m not super picky with ships, but chemistry between muses is important, so I’m not likely to just jump into most ships without some interactions first. The only exceptions will be if we’ve plotted something ooc. There are no ships that I can think of right off that I would absolutely refuse to write her in, so throw anything and everything at me- canon ships, non-canon ships, ocxcc ships, crossover ships, ships you don’t think get enough love, even toxic ships. I’m very open with shipping Rogue so long as it seems to make sense in the context of our writing <3
Polyships are welcome if discussed! I love a good poly ship, honestly, so feel free to mention it if you’re interested! I also have a multimuse blog with plenty of other muses, so if you want to polyship with Rogue and one of my other muses, that’s totally welcome, too!!
I don’t write much smut. Sorry! That said, if things are going to go that way I’ll move the thread to a nsfw sideblog or to discord. Partly because I’m a bit shy about my writing of that content, and partly just to keep it off of the dashes of people who follow me but would rather not see it.
This is a multiship blog! Each ship takes place in their own, separate, verse etc etc (you know the drill). There will be no cheating / adultery unless it’s plotted, and even then I’m a bit iffy on it most of the time.
This blog is Semi-Selective, but for the most part pretty lenient <3 I’ll follow back and write with most people! I probably won’t follow your blog, however, if you’re primarily smut based, post a lot of negativity, or the mun is under 18.
I might interact with muses under 18 on occasion, but it’s unlikely. In general, I’m not usually comfortable with it. If there are interactions with muses under 18 there will be absolutely, absolutely, no sexual content! That’s a hard fucking no from me.
Pregnancy plots are... fine. But they have to be discussed first. I actually like unplanned pregnancy plots kind of? And Rogue, in most verses, would eventually like to be a mother, but I’d still like to discuss it first, regardless. However, if I reblog a meme that mentions it? Feel free to send it and we can toss it into a separate AU unless we’ve discussed making it part of their main verse. OR we can just do it as a one off reply! Easy!

I reserve the right to unfollow / soft block / hard block anyone at any time without giving a reason. You can do the same to me! No hard feelings, no need to explain! Don’t take it personally if I unfollow or soft block you. Sometimes I just need to clean my dash up and remove people who aren’t interacting for the sake of my own peace of mind. I might also do any of the above if you post nsfw images / videos without tagging; your blog seems to be mostly / only smut (which hopefully I’ve caught before following you in the fist place, but sometimes things slip through the cracks oTL); OR you cause / participate in ooc drama. I don’t have time for that. Alternately, I might just not feel comfortable following you anymore for some reason not mentioned above. Again- no hard feelings.

Obviously, I would prefer it if you sent a meme in if you’re reblogging a meme from me, but, again, totally not required <3 This is a reblog karma free zone! You’re good to go!
Please specify which verse you want when you send asks or offer to plot! If you don’t have a specific one in mind when plotting, we’ll figure it out based on the plot. If you don’t have one in mind for an ask, you’re just going to get whichever verse I feel fits.
I have a multimuse blog! Feel free to follow it and check it out! That said- Rogue is the character I consistently have the most muse for, that’s why she has a solo blog and the others don’t. Activity on that blog may be a little spottier than it is here, especially depending on the muse you’re interacting with on that blog.

Verse 1: Comics Based
To be honest with you, I don’t keep up with the comics very well. First it was a money issue, now it’s a time issue. And I’m also not great at retaining information that doesn’t really reach out and grab me (I have minor memory issues), so I’ve forgotten plenty of what I should know, too. Basically, what I’m saying is... I’m gonna fuck up. Probably a lot.
I’m trying to go through and read stuff now that I have Marvel Unlimited, and when I see pieces that I like I jot them down or pin ‘em in my brain for later! I know a decent amount about Rogue as a character, herself, but not a ton about the rest of the characters and the overarching world. There’s a ton of comics, like, literally DECADES worth of material... and the comics can be really confusing sometimes, too! So please know that there will be mistakes! Gentle corrections are fine and I might even ask you about something I’m unsure of! Just be nice about it, okay? <3
With that said, I’m always open to learning more and, seriously, would LOVE to! So if there are things you think it’s important for me to know that I might not know, or if there are certain issues / storylines about your muse that you think I should check out to get a better understanding of them... either just tell me about it a bit or give me a chance to find it so I can read up on it!

Verse 2: Fox Movies Based
You’re not gonna see any hate from me for the movies on this blog! They may have had their problems, but they’re fun and nostalgic and I love them for that <3 You’re free to dislike them though because I 100% get it! Did they get a lot of stuff wrong? Totally! Did they kind of fuck up Rogue’s character Absolutely. BUT I still love her for what she was, anyway. (Same with most of the characters lol)
Some differences between the movies and my own interpretation exist, of course (mostly including her usefulness in battle and etc because, after some training? She’s a pretty decent fighter and her powers make her a pretty tough opponent for some people and just... why did we not get her fighting more?! Let her fight, goddamnit!), but I’ll mostly stick to the same outline unless otherwise discussed. Eventually, I’ll make a proper list about the differences and link it both here and on the side of my blog.
*Although comics!Bobby is canonically gay, things are a bit more ambiguous here. Personal canon is that they were in a relationship, but it was more of a... testing the waters situation for Bobby as he was discovering his sexuality (unless otherwise plotted or you want to stick strictly to the movies). So it was short lived and neither of them have hard feelings and, in fact, are still super close friends (to the point of being obnoxious lmao). Also, no jealousy with Kitty anymore. Come on. I get it, but I’m not here for it. They’re friends.
Movie!Rogue is also canon-divergent, obviously.

Verse 3: MCU Based
(AKA: This is MY version of Rogue and I’ll write her how I want!) This is the verse that is most heavily headcanon based because, as of right now, she doesn’t exist in the MCU. Should that change and she’s introduced into the MCU, this will change to an alt!MCU verse because I’m not gonna get rid of it after all the time I’ve spent writing and headcanoning it ^^;
What you need to know: This verse is fairly heavily comics!canon influenced, though, again, it adds a lot of headcanons for the sake of fitting her into the MCU more easily and just because I want to <3
This time line and such is SUPER flexible. As the X-Men haven’t been introduced into the MCU yet, I’m happy to discuss where on the time line interactions take place etc. We’re going to just go along with whatever makes the most sense for what we’re writing and who I’m writing her with. If we need her to already be in her 20s around, say, Age Of Ultron? Sure! No problem! Would it be best if she was, like, only 19 post-Endgame? Not a problem! Seriously, we can figure it out, I’m not fussy! This verse can basically be whatever it needs to be, though some things will remain pretty standard throughout unless otherwise discussed:
1. Her time with Mystique and Irene (though the timeline has been edited and shifted slightly from comics canon to make it more cohesive and easier to navigate).
2. She has fought the Avengers a fair number of times as a teenager. (The number of wins and losses is pretty even, though usually when she fights alone she’s meant to be more of a distraction than anything and has pulled back when she gets the “okay” from Mystique or whoever else is leading the team, regardless of who was winning).
3. She nearly killed Carol Danvers and (semi-)permanently stole her powers at the age of 16. She still has the powers of flight, super strength, and enhanced durability.
4. She joined the X-Men at 17, almost 18, when Carol’s powers and psyche proved too much for her to handle alone.
5. Most of the team was reluctant to accept her at first and maybe even, to some degree, still doesn’t entirely trust her. This is especially dependent on her age at the time and, thus, how long she’s been working with the X-Men, though.

Verse 4: Mixed Media Verse!
(AKA: My signature blend of all the verses, brewed to suit your tastes! Or, ya know, just super flexible lol) This isn’t technically a real verse, BUT I mixed a bunch of headcanons and verses together for her on my multimuse, so that’s kind of verse 4- just the amalgamation of her that I write on the multimuse blog. Idk lol. THIS IS THE VERSE I USE MOST OFTEN UNLESS OTHERWISE SPECIFIED. It’s basically a mix of my MCU verse (which heavily takes from the comics verse) and her Fox Movies verse. This verse doesn’t have it’s own tags or anything, really, and there’s no set face claim (could be Anna Paquin, could be India Eisley, depends on the fc my partner wants lol).
Anyone who writes with Rogue in this mixed verse might just get their own verse tag if I think it’s necessary, that’s just how it’s gonna go.
That said, as of 09/06/2022, I added a short google doc that has a basic lay out for this verse! It’s not finished yet, but it’ll give you a run down. There is, at the end of that document, another linked document that MAY BE CHANGED AS I GO. So, definitely feel free to read it, but know that things might be changed as I go. It’s a work in progress and there are some pieces I want to rewrite / rework, so it’s not a definitive piece, yet.
Verse 5: Brotherhood Verse
Kind of a “What If...?” verse, if you will. In this case... it’s a take on what might have happened if she hadn’t gotten help from Xavier and joined the X-Men after absorbing Ms. Marvel. This verse is VERY OPEN to ideas! But, ultimately, it sees her remaining a (possibly semi-reluctant) villain. Obviously, she stays with Mystique and, subsequently, the Brotherhood as well.

Verse 6: Powered Down
(AKA: General Verse) No mutation; no powers. Just a general verse because I think that exploring her as a person without ever having had the trauma of her powers / being raised by Mystique, but with the trauma of the other parts of her life, could be interesting. This is also a super open verse, obviously, and will really be based primarily on what we’re writing, your muse, etc etc!
Verse 7: Evolution Verse
Simply put- a verse based primarily on X-Men Evolution! Nothing too exciting to add as I haven’t really expanded on it past the end of the series or anything, but I wanted to add it so ya’ll knew it was available!
