have a plan for getting Mimic Girl and Cryptmother back in order and that's it, that's all I can do until they are in order

keep getting too sidetracked to implement them yet, but when I get it together...

it's not hard to rank high right now, but it is nice to see :)

Maybe you missed the monster girl debacle of the summer, don't worry! A small group of us decided to ride coat tails. Support my poor time management and decision making skills by reading Sugar, Spice, and Mimic Bites a coming of age monster girl progression fantasy.

Sometimes a family is a shady wizard and the teenage girl he accidentally resurrected into a mimic... After an incident involving a drunken dare and a risky resurrection spell, Cheslin finds herself fused to the mimic that ate her and in the service of the wizard what did the fusing. As much as the wizard Ozirick wanted his mimic back—he worked hard on that!—the last thing he wants is to unleash this accidental monstrosity upon the world... Or to be responsible for the emotional well being of a young woman. And Cheslin hungers for more than the wizard is willing to provide. In addition to this strange, shape changing body, she now shares the mind of a monster. And all this one seems to know is eat flesh, horde treasure, and lie. If she wants to maintain her sanity, or even just her last shred of humanity, Cheslin is going to need to find a way to keep the monster satisfied.

tldw; it's similar to those 75 hard fitness challenges, except for focusing on author things like writing, publishing, social media, etc etc. I'm in the discord, I have little colored flags on my calendar, my journal looks like environmental story telling for a horror video game telling myself both that I am not crazy and that I am going to succeed because I am crazy.

I started Officially™ May 19th, I should be "finished" November 20th

It's going k. I don't work well with daily word count goals, but my words per day are going up as planned / hoped. Cryptmother is regaining a backlog I should be able to maintain while I finally (finally) begin making big progress with Theoretical Defense. I have my projects all laid out for the six months and then some.

I'm still not great at social media! I keep trying with instagram but tbh this post is a concession that making posts over there the way I want IS taxing and I can't be doing three posts a day that way. Here and bsky might be the move for the rest of this.
