Kinley’s mom informed mollee and jeka that they had decided to transfer Kinley to a studio closer to their home. The travel time to the crew (which is in burbank) is around a three- to four-hour drive. Before, it was manageable because kinley’s dad worked nearby and could take her, but he was reassigned or got a new job, which means he could no longer drive her and take her home every day. On top of that, her mom had been missing a lot of time with kinley’s younger brother, and continuing at the crew would only make that harder.

They did reassure mollee and jeka that kinley would still come in on weekends to assist mollee. However, mollee and jeka didn’t take the news well and felt betrayed by the decision. That reaction feels a bit shallow, considering the circumstances and the effort kinley’s family made to still stay involved, especially since it was pretty obvious that kinley and mollee were quite close and had more than a student-teacher relationship, and kinley being best friends with starr, mollee’s sister. What made things even worse was that right after kinley left, mollee posted about congratulating jono, fully aware of the issues between kinley and jojo, which came across as pretty shady. I feel like mollee and jeka were so childish, unreasonable, and petty about the whole thing.

so many studios have just gone to their first studio comp which is crazy, so I don’t think I’ve watched much tbh.

How are convention room winners picked because it never really makes sense. Always wondered about that

Ive always thought it’s subjective. An important factor I think they all share is picking up the choreography, plus the way they execute it. Of course, technique becomes more important the older they get. I’ve been inside the mini room and it’s CHAOS lol.

Who are your favourites to watch?

I don’t think I watch dance as much anymore tbh, but I love watching Cami G always (can’t believe she’s a teen), Soph Mestan, Mila R, the club kids are always so captivating! And Center Stage kids too. Like, impeccable technique😭

what's your opinion on Camila new solo ordinary people? I didn't get most of the moves, idk the choreo looks weird to me. no hate intended ofc, Camila is a great dancer, I just dont see this solo on her tbh.

It is kind of a unique style. Quite different from her usual solos, but I think she sold it well, and idk, but the choreo actually makes sense to me and matches the music 🤔 anyway, it seems good for growth
