A Bookish Worm

The corner of an apartment was deemed appropriate for a library. Using the window as a ledge, the owner designed a system based on cubby holes, each one uniform and as large as the biggest book. With a selected number of books to each compartment, titles are quickly spotted, books easily removed.

I hope you read some fine books and kiss someone who thinks you’re wonderful, and don’t forget to make some art – write or draw or build or sing or live as only you can. And I hope, somewhere in the next year, you surprise yourself.”

A book, too, can be a star, a living fire to lighten the darkness, leading out into the expanding universe.
