Y’know I reblogged this a bit ago and was saved from financial probation and getting kicked out of school because of it, just mere months from graduation. Got a call from the financial aid advisor telling me that they made a mistake with filing my account (or some other sort of clerical error) and said that, basically, they owe me money. Welp.

i hate being a WHINER MCWHINERPANTS but it can be really hard to watch a fic struggle to reach a hundred notes (REAL TALK: it can be really hard to watch a fic hit TWENTY notes), but have people tell you in passing that they read and enjoyed it. it can be harder when someone is KIND and WONDERFUL enough to go the extra mile and create art for a fic and watch that art get 40x the notes as the fic. writers are humans and narcissists and want to hear what you think after staying up until three am stressing out over how realistic it is that two people can fuck in the drivers seat of a 2013 camaro, or rewatching 200 episodes of a tv show just to see if a secondary character has ever had a middle name.
