The duality of man is really exemplified by my roommate putting on the sounds of a rain storm in the background to relax while reading and me immediately being stressed out and unable to read a single page

Not doing this to myself again, nope. Not getting a crush on the tall brunette man who loves basketball and going out to bars, who’s nice to me in a way no one has been before and has a cute nickname for me, but who very obviously likes another girl in our friend group and starts ignoring me. I think I’ll pass this time.

Chilledchaos is retiring 😭😭😭

Overhearing my students’ conversation and hearing “lucky block”, “Lachlan”, “Jerome”, “Preston”, and “Minecraft hide and seek” was INSANE. I watched those YouTubers 13 years ago when I was the same age as my students are now 😭

I’ve always known I don’t want to have my own children, but maybe would foster/adopt older children. But now I have a sudden urge to teach my child to read before kindergarten so that they can be ahead of every other kid.

I made it all through my bachelor’s and master’s degree without feeling left out for not drinking. But here I am, at 25 years old feeling left out and like I’m not able to date/make new friends because I don’t drink and don’t want to go out to the bars til 3am

One friend got engaged tonight and another is getting married next week but I’ve never even been on a date ✌🏼
