The British Beach Invasion! I don't quite fit in am not quite fat enough, am seriously lacking in tattoos and piercings, plus I can walk unaided however it is great to see this, to me it's like a time machine, families with picnics on the beach, wind breakers, no electronics, children paddling and jumping the waves, mums dads grans grandads aunts uncles or just friends they may all appear to be from Derbyshire but they took me 30+years (at Stevensons Golden Sands)

Final memory moment of the day ..... Eastgate market, virtually every weekend Charlotte & I had to walk up to the market from Anchor lane to get dad his cockles, whelks, winkles and the odd crab for mum to dress (if you buy it ready dressed you miss out on the leg meat I was reliably informed) I spotted the seafood stand at the market today, the guy running it reminded me of the guy who used to serve us, but younger ... family business perhaps? Made me smile away (at Ingoldmells Market)

Memory Lane moment.... Every year over the summer my sister & I spent our holidays with Grandma at the Caravan site just off Anchor Lane, Mum & Dad would often drive us to Sutton on Sea at the weekend for the day, apart from my passion and overwhelming desire to one day own a beach hut along the sea front I also loved this antique / junk shop. This passion goes back over 35 years, today as we drove past I couldn't believe it hasn't changed in the slightest, even the mannequins still stand outside! (at Sutton on Sea)

We spent the morning and evening riding the rides at fantasy Island! £60 for 3 all access passes, the 9 y-o counted 15 rides each👏🏻 (14 for me) (at Fantasy Island)
